Bologna is my city.. it’s a real pearl… not too small, not too big.. full of history, very medieval, with a historical university in europe and with the best food
Bologna is my City too, where l have been 6 times for 10 days each coming from Dubai-Bologna (2014-2020). From there l have visited by train, and car Modena (Pavarotti’s home), Parma, Emilia-Romagna, Ravenna...the Grand Hotel Majestic gia’ Baglioni in the Centre my oasis. The Porticoes Heavenly. So good memories. The old wooden University from the 11 Century is a gem. The dissection table is chilling, and the wooden human body sculptures aesthetically beautiful. Bologna is an ever young city with all the students. The countryside around Bologna is also very attractive. The food is divine, the Bolognans are stylish, people watching at the big Piazza is a must. Oh yes, and the Town is not too big, not too small has everything, and the Italians are super relaxed and friendly there. Every Weekend from Friday night to Sunday night no cars in the centre, just people, activists, music, entertainment... Can’t wait to be back once more. 🏖🇦🇺🇮🇹
Bologna is my home town. One of the many things that make it famous are the ARCADES, that have become a UNESCO patrimony. Alltogether, Bologna has 62 chilometers of arcades !!!
@@zacheray please do not misunderstand me. Of course we treat people kindly we are not beasts or Germans. A good part of the city makes is living from university students and tourists. But we already have a lot of them, a bit too much. So please go see other cities like Sassuolo, Rovigo or Latina they are ugly but it doesn't matter
@@giulioleoni7764 l have been many times to Bologna, and each time were not too many tourists there. Do not panic. I could sit at the Piazza’s Cafe with Neptune Fountain undisturbed with a few other Bolognans, and everyone was smiling. The Weekends are the best, when everyone strolls around, and the cars are banned from the centre. No other City apart from Florence, Milano, has such lively, organic, soulful aura like Bologna. Sorry to disturb you. I apologise. ❤🇮🇹🇦🇺Melbourne
