Welcome to St. Petersburg Bridge Walks, our 9-part series featuring all the main, central bridges of St. Petersburg, Russia, that span the Neva River and its offshoots.
This video showcases the Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge (Большеохтинский мост), also known as the "Emperor Peter the Great Bridge" (мост Эмператора Петра Великого). We'll walk the bridge down and back and visually give you a feel for what it's like, its architecture, and design.
St. Petersburg is a city known for its islands and bridges. The bridges featured in this series are all heavily trafficked by vehicles and pedestrians alike.
