Please join us on a #walkingtour of Bolsover Castle in #derbyshire as we learn about the history. The original Castle was founded in the late 11th Century by William Pervil but was neglected by the mid 14th Century. The ruins provided the setting for the Little Castle which begun in 1612 by Sir Charles Cavendish. Over the years the Castle passed to the Cavendish family & eventually was passed to the Ministry of Works & now English Heritage
