Hi, Bolt or Bigfoot airsoft do a specific battery for the BRSS range of guns. It's actually an 11.1v 850mah lipo, not sure where the reviewer read in the manual that a 7.4v is required as it doesn't say anything of the sort in my manual. The 11.1v makes the gun feel so much more powerful and also fits perfectly into the handguard.
The grip isn’t Bakelite it’s polymer , they never made black Bakelite grips for any ak , both plum colour and black furniture you see on most aks ( mainly 74’s ) is made from polymer or plastic not the original Bakelite ( yes Bakelite is early plastic composite ) AKM , AKMS on the other hand both had original Bakelite pistol grips they then moved on to plum plastic grips that’s mostly what you’ll see on later produced Soviet’s AK’s , Bakelite is a light brown / orange colour and has somewhat of its own grain / texture. Not to be confused with wood although in some cases it does look similar in appearance.
I have a Bolt B.R.S.S Aks74u, when it arrived it was broken, I got a refund for it and got to keep the gun, but does anybody know where I can purchase parts to fix the gun or some sort of repair kit?
