Great review of your Hi Lift jack mount. I never cared for how it looks on the side of the Jeep, but it looks really good on your Jeep with your set-up.
I noticed that you have Fox shocks. Do you recommend them? Which model? Looks like yours have a reservoir. I just bought my Bolt J mount. Currently, I have my Hi Lift mount in the back. I hate it- way too much weight with the spare tire, the jack hits the taillight, and I cannot open the rear window. And I snapped two grade 8 bolts due to too much side torqueing.
The suspension is the JK 4dr: 3" Sport ST3 Suspension System w/ Fox Reservoir Shock. It performs very well. But I haven’t tried anything else on the either so perhaps there is a better option.
@@AdventureVehicleReviews I have a 4dr Wrangler Sport with 3 inch lifts. Thanks for your opinion on the Fox system. I installed the J mount yesterday. I thought putting on the thrust clip was a pain in the butt. To add salt to injury, I picked the wrong hole( 50/50 chance) for the pin so I had to remove the thrust clip and to put it back on again. The real test is when I go off road.
my guess is yes, but you will have to remove the hi-jack to remove the door then put the hi-jack back on to lock it up, but the real question is can the door open as it was before lol
Since this is mounted on the body I’m going to say absolutely. I don’t know how wide the door opens without touch the jack but you can take the doors off. I read some reviews where people said they can’t open the door all the way or else the jack hits the door. Also an issue with side steps and the bottom of the jack.
