Bolting down a leg vice

I find for cutting threaded rod, I put two nuts on it spaced apart. Clamp the nuts in the vise and it gives me a great purchase. Also then I can unthread the nuts and it clears the cut of any damaged threads.

Ah perfect, i still need to properly mount mine as well!

Crackin. I don't have a leg vice yet, just a heavy, old engineer's vice bolted to my welding table. I bolted mine to the ground with lag bolts in plugs, but it's not very good, couple came loose already. Think I'll pinch this idea and grab some threaded rod! Cheers Oscar, keep up the good work man
