During the celebration I got punched in the ribs, kicked in the ankle, glasses nearly smashed.. Absolutely worth it. What a fantastic day it was. Certainly one of the best in my lifetime. Great reaction from Bolton fans outside afterwards as well.
No matter how hard you look. You wont find this passion in the premier league. Championship to the conference are the most beautiful leagues in England. Glad the Blues stayed up, from a Stevenage fan
The lower divisions have always been where the real passion for the game is. As a Bristol City fan I experienced top to bottom in successive seasons. I always had far more fun watching City at the likes of Torquay, Swansea, Walsall, Reading etc than I ever did at Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City...
So when Birmingham get back to the Premier League, like they were a few years ago, do they automatically lose their 'passion'? These sorts of ridiculous comments amuse me.
MUFC 20x In a way, they will. Prices will go up. There will be more foreign pansies in the squad and their away end will be filled with Soulless premier league fans.
There would be the exact same amount of passion if this were to happen to a team in the prem. The top clubs are where you see the lack of passion from supporters, not the whole league in general though.
Even as a wolves fan I'm envious of this video a little bit. The emotions them bluenoses went through in those 90 minutes must have been so fucked up and the celebrations? Pure raw relief . Thousands of fellas having that amazing moment of pure and utter delirium . Truly great vid.
What I love about these sort of vids is that the gloryhunting biffs who follow MUFC and LFC will never ever feel like those real fans, no matter what there supposed clubs achieve. They will never get it.
Mate as I blue I she'd a tear each time I watch this even now it just transports me back to that day, honestly the only day I have ever she'd a tear at a game, seconds from administration and possibly liquidation, there's a reason Paul Caddis is known as "the saviour" to blues fans.
Despite being a Wolves supporter with no affinity whatsoever with Blues, I always get shivers down the spine when I watch this clip. Absolutely phenomenal support, and a vid that should win awards.
That split second of silence between Zigics effort being cleared off the line and Caddis nodding it in. Will live with me for ever. Then a complete outbreak of deafening noise. Ive never celebrated a goal like that. Not even Wembley. Thank Andy M, magical footage.
I know there will be a few people maybe from different countries who don't understand the importance of this goal I've seen a few comments already, they needed this goal to stay up on the last day and to get it in the 90th minute... Truly amazing.
More than that this goal saved our club!! If we went down that day we'd have gone bust within months... We were close to administration even staying in the league without the extra £7m you get being a championship club rather than League 1 we'd have gone under.
The greatest footage of football ever captured on film & i mean that 100%. Its just a miracle happening in front of ypur eyes & the celebrations mirror that. That song man! Stoke fan but got show due tespect. I know you were still chanting for your team at 0-2 so total respevt blues fans!
I'm from Ghent (KAA Gent) in Belgium, but I have watched this hundreds of times. This is what football is all about. The passion, some will never know it. I've searched for the lyrics of what you guys were singing, but I can't find it, sounds awesome.
As you go through life, It's a long, long road, There'll be joys and sorrows too, As we journey on, we will sing this song, For the boys in royal blue, We're often partisan, la, la, la, We will journey on, la, la, la, Keep right on to the end of the road, Keep right on to the end, Though the way be long, Let your hearts be strong, Keep right on to the end, Though you're tired and weary, Still journey on, Till you come to your happy abode, Where all the love you've been dreaming of, Will be there. Where ? At the end of the road. Birmingham! Birmingham! Birmingham! Something like that
I’m not even a Birmingham fan and this gives me goosebumps, can only imagine what it was like for the Birmingham fans there and watching this, unreal memories that will last forever💙💙
Unreal even all these years on it brings a tear to the eyes, that rendition of Keep Right On!! 😍 The utter emotion of this day will live with me forever.
***** Haha, As much fun it would have been to play blues next season (as a walsall fan) I do have a soft spot for Blues. You're fans seem just normal unlike others of the Midlands I won't mention. Hope you manage to get a new owner and bring some stability back! KRO.
You saw it at your place when Blackpool fc came to town 2 d play off we beat you 5 - 3 I was there tangerine army support was amazing in a big ground we had 3, 500, never forget it.
mick harrison that was nothing like what we went through on this day we were 2-0 down with 5 minutes to go & relegated to league one then we scored to make it 2-1 then in injury time we equalised & stayed up on goal difference in the last 30 seconds of the game
@@MotownShaker were the ones that fkd forest on and off the pitch lately, ask your mates what happened last couple of times, one behind the tower, 2 nd time central drive, we smashed you, and I went to warehouse in Nottingham few days after, and the forest fans admitted the team and fans you don't know, ran you all over, your fkuk all.
And people say English atmospheres are bad, admittedly most Premiership atmospheres are poor because the grounds are saturated with Chinese tourists, the Championship is where it is at.
Such an underrated video displaying the emotions that all us football fans love the game so deeply for. A celebration like this papers over the cracks of such bad days we all have experienced supporting our clubs. 👏
i was there upper tier in floods of tears and watching this again makes the tears come flooding back. Thank you so much for sharing, best clip on you tube......Bolton fans gave us plenty of sh*t during the game but showed their true spirt by applauding the blues fans at the end....quality! KRO
Even as a die hard villa fan ive gotta give it to the blue noses for there support at this game.that roar when the goal went in gave me goosebumps. Fair play. Utv
Still my favourite ever video, remember going that mad in the upper tier that I fell over (drinking all morning didn't help) but what a day. Absolutely class
Your away support was the bollocks and is probably near to half of Doncasters average home gate , so deserved to stay up. See you at sunny Charlton next season lads and lets hope for a better season for us both
Birmingham fans best in England look at this video bruges away soo glad I support city 1991 present day only blues fans do it like this and respect to the other fans I e Charlton blackpool south London geezer aswell
Thanks for Blackpool fc mention m8 we're very noisy and passionate on our day, means a lot from a blue nose after play off match brum few years ago it was all there to see, bfc.
Thanks for the video. Football is the greatest sport on the planet and its moments like this that make it why. The emotions during that game were insane
I must have watched this video 100 times now and I smile every time. But it doesn't compare when I was there. The emotions, the passion and everything. AMAZING day
Fucking hell that is class. Electrifying! Massive moments in football can inspire such delirium and joy. From the depths of utter despair to salvation in the last seconds of the season! Brilliant. I know what it feels like because my team Barnsley had a last day/last minute escape the year before. No better feeling. Well done lads, it was pure carnage in that away end after the goal :-)
I went from crying tears of despair at 2-0 down to years of pure joy. Went through every emotion possible. What a day I was right by the smoke. Incredible scenes. That stand went mental! KRO!
Not a Birmingham fan, but as a veteran of many an away game, I’m amazed at how they managed to coordinate such an amazing Keep Right On across the whole away end after such carnage
Fair play to comments from Bolton supporters... I was there and it was amazing.. All your emotions in 90 minutes l. Always a good day at the out at the Reebook. We symphasis with your current position as it could have easliy been us. Good luck in Div 1
Not a Birmingham fan but fuck me the limbs in that end when the ball hit the net. It's worth following your team up and down the country for one moment like that in a lifetime. Stuff of dreams. Fair play 👌
I was there mate in the lower tier. Been a Birmingham fan for 29 years & never known a goal celebration like it. We were relegated to league one then Paul Caddis equalised with 30 seconds of injury time to go & we stayed up on goal difference in the end
I've watched this video numerous times but only just noticed the guy on the top tier running the length before being calmed down by the stewards. Absolute quality :-) KRO
Oh I don't know? I see a tiny stadium getting excited about a pretty boy who flops. I can't imagine what you think I'm missing here. I'm glad you've finally successfully read my comment. Next time, try doing that part first, before talking to me.
aston villa take note this is how you support your club when they are in the shit you dont stand infront of the team coach calling your players wankers ,,, sotv
tellitlikeitis1963 The difference though is that season you showed the fight and the passion and the players always gave 110%. However at Villa there was no fight, no team spirit and the only thing they cared about was their £55K a week wages!!! These lazy work shy imposters pretending to be Aston Villa players treated the shirt like dirt and did not give a rat's backside about the fans who supported them week in week out.
The words to that song have never meant more and been more true than on that day. The feeling was like we took every drug in the world at the same time it was mental
