Thanks for the content. Been playing with my list heavily in the lead up to our local calling. Had some horrible hands when I run 9-12 solflare cards so I’m prone to running 6 and side board in 3 more for spellbane tokens etc
Yea look into the stats on fabrary. I have on average 15% chance a no charge hand... that's border line for me. I can drop that to 10% if I replace 3 none chargies with 3 Chargies. Probably need to do that!
@@Saltlakecity269 how do you feel about the value of spirit of war? I feel 0 cost 3 damage standard, charge yellow and plays well with a pump, and then grants a courage token for each attack action that hits. In itself its similar to beaming bravado (which is better as like you said 2 card 7) but this can math similar as it will pump the Raydn. And if you add another attack like illuminate you get good value. Thoughts?
@@thirdpartyinterest I'm not sold on Spirit of War but I will try it instead of express lightning. It's a bad card at any other time apart from being used first in the chain. But, saying that if you start with it against an aggro deck it can push in 2-3 points of damage (which you need to do in order to outplay express lightning).
I disagree. Engulfing light is equally good at the start of a chain, if there's no go again, better if you have no yellows and much better at the end of a chain. I've learnt the hard way many times not to understand estimate the value of cards in soul. Unless ur deck is built for Spirit of war, I.e. attack reacts. then I wouldn't play it. Likewise with Engulfing, if you have ways to keep your soul healthy then its probably not needed. Engulfing into beacon has saved me on many occasion.
Really great video and plenty of tips and thoughts I already had and which were new for me as well... I am also thinking of what might be a decent deck version against all those dromais in the next meta... Do you have thoughts/tips for me already? 😊
Hi Josh, the decks I've been playing are great against dromai. I have a very high win rate against that hero but I've discovered it worsens my percentage a bit against ninjas. fabrary.net/decks/01HD0RNTK80ZR0AMVCM76Z5S9Z I have a video (badly recorded!) coming up against Dromai because a lot of people seem to be struggling in that match up
