I was wondering if you figured out what type of movie files it can play. I have the newer 1080P model and it seems to only detects MKV files while not MPEG and MP4.

Hello! Thanks as always for great and very trustworthy reviews... A couple of questions... 1. Does it play Netflix from mobile ( screen mirroring ) in Dolby or can it just do Stereo?? 2. Using chromecast, can you use Alexa in the same way that you used google assistant?

Hey, yes you can screen mirror netflix but It depends on the phone that you use. My iPhone doesn't do great...a lot of lag, my P40 Pro does great. Only stereo sound. As for Alexa controlling the chromecast...I never tried...

the new version bomaker has no Bluetooth function, it needs to use Bluetooth transmitter to open the Bluetooth connection function

No, didn't have to set it up in any way, just installed the battery.

No I found an adaptor which allows the projector to become Bluetooth enabled on Amazon which works really well

@@joshduke3223 ah ok I’ve been trying for days to try and get my Bluetooth speaker to connect to it, is it not possible at all? 😭 trying to screen mirror Netflix as well and that’s just not working

You cannot connect Bluetooth to the projector Also screen mirroring doesn’t work as the licensing on Netflix doesn’t allow it

I just got this projector ,but the problem I'm having now is to set it up,I only have my chromebook and my iphone ,tried to connect with my wifi via my iphone ,but couldn't go through the ID scan when I typed the ID # but nothing showed up next ,it was blank all the time ,tried to add the network but don't know SSID #,don't know how to connect to my chromebook,it has no option ,really have troubleshooting for the first step .Anyone knows how to connect to the WiFi and chromebook?Please need help with it ,

It worked for me a couple times, the screen mirroring, it has to be available on the wifi first, but I can’t get it to work again. Now, it no longer shows up in my wifi options for iPhone or iPad. It’s no longer on Amazon for me to contact the seller….

Meh $140 is ridiculously overpriced for a 480p. You can get real native 1080p projectors with similar Brightness levels for $160. I wouldnt pay more than $70 for something like this

this thing is bull****! blurry af at the outsides of the image, horrible input lag if you try to game on this thing and loud.

For one hundred this isn't horrible. I have a xgimi. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. (It's on sale currently). I did a lot of research before I purchased mine, the native Android plug and play was a major selling point for me. Some projector enthusiasts suggest using a black border for bleed out. I've noticed that shiny vinyl makes my image 3d quality. I wonder if you could hack your projector with raspberry pi and add a couple of emulators.
