Thanks. What if we burn one KG of coal and heat water. In controlled environment. Chances of error would reduced. Just burning 1gm coal is not logical. Specific heat of water at sea level is defined, if we burn 1kg coal to heat one KG water from zero to 100 C, and entire coal is consumed, then the GCV of coal can be calculated. Please comment.

if sample is rice husk briquettes then, how we prepare the sample for this equipment. and can we take soft water in steel bomb inplace of DM water. Pls. clear.
