@Joanne Rogers Little was not even born yet. But Little did kill almost 100 people. The Torso murders may never actually be solved since they happened in the 30s. Look up the Word Infamous. that is not the Correct word to describe Danny Greene. Was he a Criminal yes, So was Robin Hood aka Robin of Locksley. He stole from the Rich and gave to the Poor. I have a dad who worked as a Cleveland Police Officer in the 60s, 70s and 80s. He also graduated from the Same High School as Danny Greene Collinwod as both my parents. So did Phil Christopher. The Case I want to know about is who Bombed the Roxy Theatre in Cleveland.

yet as someone not from cleveland, i just asked 5 people in the office , none of them heard of any of those other guys you said, but 3 of us including me heard of danny greene

the movie definitely helps. i mean they made a movie called Kill The Irishman. all my irish friends live that movie. so now you have most irish americans that know of him cause of the movie

I've never heard of Little and Sowell was just another wierdo that killed hookers that most people not addicted to Netflix never heard of or forgot about. Danny Greene was a living legend while alive and for 40+ years since. EVEREYONE knew who he was before he was blown up in the 1970's and talked about him ever since. He captivated people because he was charming, intelligent, charismatic, extreme alpha male that took on bad guys but people also realized he was extremely dangerous and ruthless and a bad guy himself. There is something much more interesting about a powerful, likeable psychopath than a reclusive creep that's been quietly burying crack hoes in his back yard. I went to high school with Danny's kids and my mom socialized with his ex wife. My childhood home was a 1/4 mile from where he was blown up. Our house shook from the blast and I remember very vividly all the police sirens and front page of the evening paper that day (The Cleveland Press). Literally everyone knew who he was and there was no internet or tik tok or Nextflix specials about him.

@@MerensWorld I have family that worked with Elliot Ness on the Torso murders as well as Sam Shepherd case. Very important people, not just cops but not gonna dox myself. Torso murders were big but was a completely different era. They happened 30 years before Danny Greene was even cutting his teeth as a longshoreman. Not relevant to compare the 2.
