Thank you! Yeah! I love all the tricky things that can be done with bombs. I haven't played in many tournaments and I'd love to get more involved with the competitive scene to sharpen my game!

@@Bayx92 yo the one when you do down smash and throw the bomb down is even cooler if you land the down smash twice like a pogo stick . I call it the explosive pogostick

It’s our worst projectile, having one out puts Young Link at a disadvantage as he loses access to the rest of his kit. Furthermore, bomb out of shield isn’t safe, his item throw is somewhat slow compared to other characters and on top of all that they are an inconsistent option in regards to confirms.

@@TreebeardXIV How exactly are they inconsistent in regards to confirms? They launch at a predictable angle. Furthermore, there is bomb tech involving jumping so you aren't in as much a disadvantage state pulling the bomb and when it is in your hand you have access to literally your whole kit still, for aerials you just need to z-drop. Hell I even z-drop bomb into d-tilt sometimes. Feel like you're exaggerating bombs flaws. If you aren't using bombs you're limiting your characters potential.

@@TreebeardXIV Indeed, having the bomb out in neutral does put you at a disadvantage. I like to pull one out when I know I have distance, and I usually don't immediately throw it. I like to Z-drop and perform aerials out of the Z-drop. Sometimes it drops and creates a little booby trap for zone control, sometimes I pick it back up just to throw it or z-drop it again, and sometimes I catch it again in mid-air via the aerial attack. I find just having a bomb in your hand or on the field creates layers of possibilities that can throw your opponent off rhythm. Also, having a bomb while off stage provides a great recovery mixup haha

@@HarktheHuman Even the best Young Link’s would agree that it’s our worst... how is it inconsistent? Because the launch direction is rng due to the fact it has multiple hit-boxes, that in this case is the very definition of inconsistent. Also, even those that acknowledge IZAC’s existence would still disagree with you, go ask any of the Young Link players in the official Discord.

Thanks man, yeah, I focus too much on what kinda stuff I can chain rather than how soon I can kill a guy... optimally, in a competitive setting, that's not ideal, but I play the game for fun just to see what kind of stuff can happen. I love smash for its free-form, open-ended style compared to traditional fighters.

I have an external hdmi capture card that inputs via USB to my computer but has an hdmi out as well so it can display in real time on my monitor as well. It's called the AGPtEK MYPIN HDMI Game Capture Card on Amazon for about $80

@@Bayx92 I've been looking in to eventually getting a capture card so I can record/stream from my consoles that can't inherently record or stream. Problem is most either do only HDMI or analogue video, so I can either record my modern systems or my classic systems unless I get a FrameMeister or an Open Source Scan Converter or somethin as well. How well has it worked for you?

Aw man, much appreciated! Yeah I feel that yinks bombs are the most versatile projectile in the game since they can be pulled out in the air and they can be thrown, dropped, and used to create little traps haha there's always more Yink tricks to discover!

Appreciate the feedback! Yeah, it's always a work in progress when learning when and when not to use bombs in certain situations.

Idk if you can overuse the delay tactics until you see the result of your enemy’s movement. A lot of unexpected stuff can happen fighting a younglink main thats why those item setups are good for covering bases.

@@Bayx92 bro, legit I would watch it. I'm at school most weekdays, but other than that I usually look at youtube many times throughout the day. I found the same thing, I have a capture card, but don't have an hdmi splitter and stuff like that. It's so hard to actually run a stream these days. I've helped my neighbor a few times set it up on twitch but youtube seems easier to use. I've got notifications on though so if I ever see your stream I'll come by for sure!
