Bomb Squad: The only FIRST team in the world to bring a robot with a swerve drive to a game that's literally based off obstacles. That's dedication right there.
I remember waiting outside at Saint Louis last year with my team (1983 Skunkworks) and one of your guys just came over and asked for a shirt trade. Fastest 'yes' I've ever said! Thanks to whoever that was!
We competed with your team this weekend at the Rocket City Regionals. You were amazing to watch and congrats on your win. Sincerely, The Twisted Gears #5845 East Limestone High School.
Our swerve is very good at avoiding and playing defense, but not in terms of pushing power. In a pushing match, swerve can be beaten by tank drive but swerve wins in terms of maneuverability. When playing defense swerve can be very effective (look at our 2012 World Championship robot) because it can easily get in the way of where an offensive robot wants to go. While on offense, swerve is almost impossible to stop because of the advantage in maneuverability.
+Hanson Ma yet they still won two regionals as the first seed last year. Sounds like real losers if ya ask me. Also, nice display of gracious professionalism. Show respect. Kachow
