My favorite gel is Naputral85 homemade hair gel because I've made it and it kept my hair really defined when I do a wash and go, braid out, twist out, and flexi rod. I also like how it keeps my hair soft.

Honestly, I haven't tried any other gels then the olive oil gel. I love the texture and its feel and how easy it is to deal with. ecostyler is such a good brand
My all time favorite gel is Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel. It's a multipurpose gel that works on both hair and skin. You can put a ton of it in your hair and your hair will never feel stiff or crunchy. It's also really moisturizing and keeps my hair looking polished.
Back in the day I used to love Let's Jam Pudding. It was purple and looked like globs of slime. It had great hold & no flaking. I don't think they make it anymore.
My favorite gel I've used is the eco styler olive oil gel. I'm transitioning (close to 20 months post) so I use eco with other products for braid outs to blend my 2 textures. I haven't tried any other gels but I definitely want to! Can't wait to be natural so I can try wash and go's

My favorite gel is the eco styler gel. It really defines my curls and also holds my hair down for twists and sleek buns. It is also really sticky but it really works for me.
My favourite gel is the eco styler olive oil gel. That gel has layed my edges and defined my curls and has been with me through thick and thin 😂. It can be crunchy but it is still my favourite gel and it is the OG
My favorite gel is Prostyl Black Gel. Never was a big fan of black gel until i tried this one. My hair stays all day, all week when i use it! its a must have now.
I used the argon oil eco styler. But I have used there brown I believer protein one and I liked it because there was no white cast ever! You absolutely gorgeous with out makeup btw!!! I've been really wanting to get my hands in this one though

MY favorite gel is Eco styler argan oil gel, it works best for my hair. But as of lately for some strange reason i've been getting a lot of white flakes with this gel , whereas before i never got any white flakes :/ idk if they changed the ingredients or if i bought copy cat gel *sighs* can anyone let me know if they have this same issue? pls tell me i'm not the only one lol
alexandra28823 WOW! I'm so glad you said this because I've been using this gel for 4-5 yrs and it's recently been flaking on me a lot too. I have tried so many things in the last few months to stop the flaking with no success. Maybe they did change the ingredients? I might jump ship to wet line.
I agree with the others saying it might be your products you're adding before the gel. I've noticed this gel doesn't flake all the time, just when I use certain leave ins or curling creams beforehand. Right now, I've cut out anything creamy because I haven't found anything that doesn't curdle with the gel. (Test before putting in your hair by combining the products in your hand and seeing how they react. If it starts chunking up, don't use that combo!)Anyone know of a good leave in that won't curdle with gel?

Ashley You definitely need to put more in your hair like an excessive amount and rub it through and run your fingers through each section with a lot of This gel it will wear your hair down a lot more better and not make a frizzy
I am a 65 year old black woman have natural hair but Gray hair I do use eco style and would love to wear my hair loose like this but I cannot get it to curl and stay all day what is your suggestion
Barbara Alexander All hair types have a coil or kink to it when wet or when gel is applied. You can make the hair extremely wet so the curl pattern can reveal itself and then follow up with a gel that has a firm hold like Eco styler gel. The hair needs to be drenched in water so it will become frizz free... i hope this helps.
My name is Ciara Rodriguez, currently my favorite hair gel is Eco styler. However I do use other gels to accomplish other looks. Eco styler is my go to for my twist outs, my wash n go, my braid outs, etc.. but eco styler doesn't provide enough hold for me to do sleek buns with it. I use Xtreme Multi-Protein for my buns, and I use it for my edges most of the time. It's the one gel that really hold my hair down. I can wear a bun with this gel for a whole week, and experience hair growth while it's tucked away. Your RU-vid channel, and social media profiles have been really helpful for me, because we have the same exact hair!!! I have learned A LOT from you, so thank you for taking out the time to create something for the curly-Coiley community! I am also from The Bronx, New York, my parents are from Panama. My all time fave gel is the "Kinky Curly- Curling Custard". It is absolutely amazing. Effective at getting my curls to pop as well as leaving shine n moisture (a little goes a looong way). A staple for my wash n gos. HOPE I WIN...LOVE YOU!!! xoxo
MewSakura12 Hahaha, it's my middle name too! I just use it cause people have problems pronouncing my last name 😂 yeah! Amazon is pretty stocked with all the beauty products I need, but the shipping to Nairobi almost doubled the price! Anything for like 10-15 dollars automatically goes up to 20-25 dollars due to shipping. So it's not really an option for me at the moment 🤔

The new flaxseed and castor oil is now my favorite, it does really well with defining my curls better than my olive oil one, United States (Spartanburg, South Carolina)
Angie Pool Same here! No matter what I do, I always end up with flakes EVERYWHERE. It really sucks because I love so many things about this gel such as the scent and texture but the flaking is too much.
If you use the gel alone you may like it much better. I can't use other products with this gel. Its so extremely moisturizing that its not necessary for other products plus adding extra products takes away the hold and defining i could get from the gel alone. Ive hated gels since forever but i loooove this one.

My curls are more frizzy like this when I use a cream moisturizer with eco gel. Try only using your spray leave in, an oil and the gel together. I get even better results with just the spray leave in and this gel alone. It's like the gel sticks to your hair better when it's not already full of a creamy product. Plus flaxseed and castor oil is already pretty moisturizing to your hair. 🙂
