Bombay masala toast sandwich is a popular street food recipe. This is an easy and simple recipe. It contains veggies and potato. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. You can make it from the ingredients easily available in your pantry. It does not need lot many ingredients. It can be a good evening snack. Kids will love it. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1/2 Mustard seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 1 tsp Green chili-Garlic paste (5~6 Garlic cloves & 2~3 Green chilies)
• 1 tsp Turmeric powder
• Boiled and mashed Potatoes
• Salt to taste
• Lemon juice
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Bread slices
• Butter
• Green Mint chutney
• Cheese slice
• Chopped Tomato
• Chopped Onion
• Chopped Capsicum
• Black pepper powder
• Chat masala
• Shev
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
• Let them pop up and add hing, green chili-garlic paste and fry for about 30-40 seconds.
• Turn off the gas and add turmeric powder and mix well.
• Add potatoes, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves and mix well.
• Aloo masala is ready.
• Take bread slices and spread butter on it.
• Spread green mint chutney, aloo masala on it, cheese slice, tomato, onion, capsicum.
• Sprinkle black pepper powder, chat masala and close the sandwich with another bread slice.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat and add butter.
• Transfer the sandwich on the pan and spread butter on it.
• When lower side is roasted well flip it over and roast well from other side too.
• When sandwich is roasted well from both sides takes it off into a dish.
• Cut the toast and dip the open side into shev.
• Bombay masala toast is all ready.
