In today's video I return to Floating Sandbox to check out three ships including the RMS Olympic and I blow it up! Join this channel to get access to perks: / @jessegillett Game: gamejolt.com/g...
this is for a few reasons, most listed below, but one big thing is that it didn't split in half. when a ship splits in half, it's taken up so much stress that most of the hull is usually compromised. While britannic's bow split off, that was when she hit the seafloor. And it was only a small margin of damage compared to titanic. That and Titanic is several thousand meters deeper under
@@HammerheadwormIt isn’t really because of those reasons. It’s mostly because the pressure on the wreck isn’t as great as titanic. Also the ship didn’t split in half.
V break and it will be cool if the Olympic was still here right next near the queen mary or the United States. And loving ur vids. So as the normandie to next to its competitor. Etc etc of other ships that sank give me ideas please
there's a new update if you haven't already, you have to uninstall and re install it. in the update you can now play with implosions and electricity and so much more. but either way great video i enjoy the effort you put into these videos keep it up Sincerely Damien
btw heres the update log New Content - Simulation of pressure: All structures are now subjected to atmospheric and hydro-static pressure as well as their own internal pressure, which changes depending on depth, holes in the structure etc which can cause implosions and explosions! - Floating Sandbox is now available on Linux! The game now works on Ubuntu 18.04 and Linux Mint 20.2. If you have any issues on using a different version, contact @Gabriele Giuseppini. - Water impact forces: A structure will buckle and deform when striking the water at high speed! - 3 new tools! Inject Pressure: increases or decreases the internal pressure of structures. Blast: creates explosive force fields of different sizes and strengths. Electric Spark: generates electric arcs on the surface of a ship. - New sound effects! - Silting: When on the bottom of the ocean, wrecks will lightly sink under the seabed over time! - World width has been increased from 5km -> 10km. - Air density is now adjustable, and the range of the water density slider has increased. - Direction lock to the slice tool - hitting the SHIFT key during a cut locks its direction. - Night Vision setting for seeing at night! - 3 more ships that demonstrate the new pressure mechanics! - 2 new materials - Mylar and Mylar Hull for flexible inflatable balloons! Fixes - Wave simulation has been improved. - Explosion physics have been improved. - Reorganised the simulation settings window. - Improved other sound effects. - Changed default ocean depth to 1000m. - Improved rain. - The physics panel is now compatible with the USCS and SI systems. - Changed some material colours in preparation for the upcoming in-game design menu.
Jesse I’m such a fan of ur work I would love it so much if h said hi !!!!!! Ur also my fav Yt though idk about the intro love it but so used to old one I been watching u for 2 years
The Olympic was way more lucky then titanic and Britannia cause it did not sink by ramming into a German Submarine and survived colliding with a ship but it did get scrapped
