He's played by the wonderful John Lithgow, actually. Imagine going from playing Winston Churchill beautifully - I thought people were going to be so angry an American played Churchill, but I never heard anything but praise - to playing Roger Ailes. Maybe that's how Lithgow stays so down to earth :) I'm not going to pay to see this but will watch it for John Lithgow alone whenever it streams somewhere. I just remembered what happened the last time Nicole Kidman played a real person. Totally bizarre, never played in theaters, ended up on Lifetime. Yikes.
Probably the worst choice ever..."May seduce you dad type"....I'm sorry but the woman depicted in the song is a woman who seduces and relates herself to men.
I can't get over how perfect Charlize is in turning herself into Megyn Kelly. It shouldn't be a shock because we've seen her do it before but... holy crap, that's insane. This movie genuinely looks incredible, I'm honestly excited to see this cast going for it.
Her face has taken up the whole screen as I've read comments, I agree she looks like Megyn, but there's simply no room for prosthetics. She's holding her mouth to make her lips thinner, much of playing a real person is watching (and imitating) how they move and carry themselves.

Everyone has been talking about Charlize Theron's transformation, which yes, is phenomenal. But I have got to talk about how impressed I am with Nicole's as well! Absolutely incredible. This is clearly going to be a great movie. It is obvious that these women completely disappeared in to their roles. Can't wait!
I love Kidman and I have to say the makeup work up she had done in destroyer was scary. Her face looked it has been sand blasted which we can agree suited the battered beaten personality of the character she was playing.
It hasn't made much money yet. The NBC situation is far more interesting to me, and Weinstein is the first and quite possibly worst, but Hollywood won't make a movie about him. . It's probably easier to go after this story, because Fox isn't all tied to Hollywood. I still feel like so much is still covered up - and some were quickly swept under the rug, like Les Moonves (I probably butchered his name, oh well) at CBS. But whoever decided this would make a great movie for the Christmas/Holiday season? "C'mon kids! We're going to buy a Christmas tree, get hot chocolate, and learn about sexual harassment in the workplace!" LOL!

I watched this movie today. When the story was over and the lights were on back again, I swear to God, I saw some old ladies smiling. A silent act of empowerment. That's why we need women acting, producing, directing films. To be silent when we need to be but also be very LOUD.

I don't know how Charlise Thereon goes from Aileen Wuornos to Megyn Kelly flawlessly. Very few actors today can totally transform themselves and mimic someone's voice, mannerisms and look. It's probably very hard to play a person that everyone knows. A lot of people have tried and failed. I'll bet that she spends hours studying clips and practicing movement and voices. I want to watch Monster and Bombshell back to back in awe.

This trio is explosive :) All credits are for Charlize. She combined all and make it happen. Her acting and transofmation to Megyn is above and beyond. Hope she will win her second oscar.
I wonder how this will compare to "The Loudest Voice". Seems like the same story, told mostly from the women's perspective, while "The Loudest Voice" told Roger Ailes fuller story. It's a story worth telling and remembering, in any case.
That movie wouldn't fit in with the agenda being pushed by the leftists in Hollywood, which is the same reason you won't see a movie about ABC News covering up for Epstein or NBC News covering up for Weinstein.
The problem with bombshell is kayla/margot was the only one who showed any real pain. The other two leads made getting roger more of a transaction. Like 'how do I best do this so I can still get the money I deserve etc.'
this movie feels so important, the tone seems a lil off but this is just a trailer so of course there just drawing you in which is good, I hope we get more films/movies about females speaking up and speaking out. and not just all white women either. but looks to be great and hopefully it does say something.

I mean I understand, the slow sequence fits the dark mood after Roger makes suggestions towards Margot's character, but yeah the rest of the song trivialises what was a serious matter.
First couple of times I saw the trailer with sound off and thought it was a comedy because the visual styling seems odd to me too... Zappy news flash fonts are too upbeat for me... I legit thought this was like Anhcorman or something .
