The really special quality about Alex is she's a genuinely selfless player. She plays for the team to win first, self glory comes second to that. She's the perfect female soccer.

Alex Morgan is undoubtedly a legendary soccer star both on and off the field! However, I watched the World Cup this summer and her poor performance contributed to the USWNT not advancing past the round of 16. Unfortunately, it is time to move on to developing younger players to move the team forward. There is so much talent that is waiting to take over. I am excited to see where the team goes next with a new crop of players and a change in leadership with their new coach Emma Hayes.

Her poor performance, Or her teams poor performance!? Sorry but, A game it's not about ONE player! This team didn't deserved anything else to move forward! Alex Morgan has always been one of my favorite female soccer players in the world; she has class and she brings that to the game. And she had the courage to marry a Hispanic and make that work despite social prejudices, that carries respect with it. The USNWT must move on bringing in new blood, and Alex will probably continue to play for a while, write her books and serve as a game analyst from time to time once she retires from the game.

It is too early for her to withdraw from active Football. If not a striker she can put her enormous experience and abilities in a playmaker role. play from the middle and plan out things. Occasionally she can make forays through the middle up to the front like Lucy Bronze does. As a striker she is certainly struggling

All good time will be ended. All records will be broken in time. All legends will retire and that goes for Alex Morgan as well!!! We all who love and follow football/soccer would know who Alex Morgan is! I agree with EVERYTHING this program stated about A. Morgan. She has been loved and followed around in this country and the world. It’s so sad to see our most beloved player decline or retire. This maybe the case for A. Morgan. We know that last year she has not done well as far as scoring or making great impact like she used to. Maybe she’ll comeback stronger, who’s know? For now for the first time she got left out and younger players who are showing much potential helping the team to WIN!!! Go team USA 👍⚽️🌹🇺🇸

She hasn't been a factor in any of her recent uswnt games. There is a fine line between being great and good. She is still a good player, but no longer great. And we're looking for great players, particularly among the next generation of players.

Have you seen her play? I don’t think age matter with woman’s football because they all pretty much play the same except for very few of them like Sam Kerr but alex Morgan does still play at a top level imo compared to a lot of the premier league players.

Alex is a great player. Once she got too famous and too much attention her teammates stop giving her balls upfront. There were many games she would play a whole half and not get a single pass from her teammates. She was always good, they just stopped passing her the ball to score. 5:40

I'd be surprised if she's included on the USWNT this year. She's injured, she's really lacked production this year, and she seems to be far more focused on her daughter (as it should be). Nonetheless, the USWNT priorities are different than Morgan's own personal priorities and perhaps that means another player in her place.

Alex Morgan pretty likeable on a very gimpy team, in likeability department. It pretty cool, original World Cup winner team. I remember that sunny day, when they win it all over the Chinese, I think. But. As far as USWNT go, they into a type of expression that not gonna get anyone notice, unless they weird or something. Alex Morgan what people wanna see. And now she gone. I remember the 'sipping tea' celebration. That not a 'celebration' pull off easy. When I go cafe, years before, soccer girls from college show up two day in a row. They in 'soccer competition' mind as they cross street get coffee drink. I wonder if they OK. You know? It remind me of this contrast, when one time I in cafe, and our NCAA ski champ female team, having coffee. They all look similar. They all look REALLY good. Jeez. My friend, who work as barista,, want to fight me, cuz these girls make guys ultra competitive. Anyway. Who will the NEXT Alex Morgan be?

Soccer should have been called FOOTBALL like it supposed to be!!! The American is at odds here. American football should have been called HANDBALL instead!!! Football means you play with your FOOT. In American football, players play MOSTLY with their HANDS. It’s only fare if next year the NFL declares National Handball League I.e. NHBL!!! Hahaha 👍🏈🇺🇸

@@PaulLe-jk4uq rugby, Aussie rules, Canadian, and Association football are all different types of football. It's just easier in the States to call association football soccer. Which is what the Etonians called it.
