well it would suck if there was the same music for a super long time :/ it would get overused as hell and become non-listenable.. it's still pretty damn awesome tho!
Because of Bomfunk MCs, as a kid, I made two great internet friends from Finland. Sadly, as time went on, we lost contact. Elina and Johanna, I hope you are doing well wherever and whatever you’re doing in 2020 :)
@@simatro9797 Not that I know of lol ^^; The online friends I made were all girls. Oh! There was another girl I spoke to for a little...Siina (sp?) Forgot about her. Oops!
I was like 30 or so when this came out and it inspired me to learn a whole new mess of hip hop dance moves. Fortunately, I've still got those same boss moves and I haven't slowed down at the perfect age of 50!
Somehow this comment made me really happy! I am 10 years younger than you and sometimes wonder if I am too old for Hiphop and breakdancing. Knowing there is a 50 years old out there still rocking the dancefloor, motivates me to continue. Thanks B-Bay! Mad Props
That’s crazy! I’m about to turn 30 soon, and you just encouraged me to do the same, haha! I think I wasn’t even in the 1st grade yet when I discovered Bomfunk MC’s. I grew up in Europe and all my older cousins put me onto some great music as a kid. I’ll always be grateful to them for that.
I think it was released in Europe in 1998/1999 but it didn't make it to the UK until 2000. It's certainly earlier than 2002 because I heard it in the UK the night before I went on my first ever vacation, and that was before September 11th which happened in 2001. I know it was before that because I would've been a lot more apprehensive getting a plane _after_ September 11th 2001 if you get my drift.
Only the coolest kids were rocking this shit in my town in 99. Couldn't tell you anywhere else cause we didn't have our heads up the worlds asshole back then did we haha
All these years and this video is still one of the most Energetic, Futuristic videos I've ever seen in my life .. it was really a video for history, Never gets old, and always ahead of it's time
@Adrian ES - I remember listening to this when it came out and hearing idiots like Damian Cullen saying the exact same thing. People get used to the music of the era of their youth and then anything to come after that sounds like "noise". I do the same thing myself now with Dubstep - I can't stand it. Just sounds like noise to me. But I know it's just my bias and the young fans of Dubstep are probably hearing something totally different than I am - and in 20 years those Dubstep fans will be complaining about whatever music is around then saying _that_ sounds like noise. It's an endless cycle. I guarantee you that whatever genre of music Damian Cullen is into, when that music first came out there were people declaring "This isn't music!" at the time. It always amuses me when fans of rock, for instance, trash later forms of music, because rock itself was considered to be an "invalid" form of music by the generation preceding it when it came out. There are still old people alive today who still think this.
@@angellijah9721 I only wish I was way to young to understand music but, the fact is I'm 51 years old. A singer/songwriter, studied music & also play 5 different instruments. As I commented earlier... It is "maniacal noise". Are any "real" "musicians" actually playing? No is the answer. A programmed sound from a keyboard with samples.
@White Boy I'm a music lover: Blues, jazz, 50's rock n' roll, 60's disco, rock, punk, heavy metal, country & Western & some rap. All kinds o' music. I'm not saying the song is bad or good. Please read the comment carefully: This is mechanical noise with a rap put over it. no musicians.
+s4eed I just heard this gem song at the nightclub last week. In Finland of course. And yes, I always thought ski goggles looked so cool, when I was a kid :D
god i remember it was the song i chose for my breakdance routine, i sucked so bad but i had so much fun and the vibes were insane, bomfunkmcs give me nothing but good memories!!
Only 4,743,862 views?!? This track is as dope as FREESTYLER!!! Used to breakdance to this late 90´s. Bomfunk made best dance music of all! Sad that they brokeup
