Thanks! I appreciate you explaining the boss better and what your are looking for from champions. This is allows one to pick from what champs they DO have. So many of the you tube boss videos just show them using the champs they do have (most ftp do not have them) and are not any help at all! So kudos to you hell hades for making this so much more informative than most of the other content creators!

This is very helpful thank you, esp the last team being more accessible. It's nice to see new ideas, using Bommal's bombs against him-excellent (note: There is also "reflect" gear w 20% health, 20% defense and 25% chance to reflect I think). My solo Conellia team used to work but now broken as the first hit from Bommal does not allow her 100% heal and her health drops after the heal...now building a team with 50% accuracy drop on Bommal, then high resist on my team + bomb champ. Well see. Thanks again!

Instead Criodin you can play Yakarl in your team. He also targets bombs with his A1, he is neutral affinity and accessible to everyone.

Thanks for the explanation. Got trough Hard 10 with Gnishak on 5.8k ATK with less impressive stats and gear. Took 46 turns. Hope to beat next rounds too.

Thanks for the different teams! Been struggling past few days with Bommel 90 Hard. Don't think I'll be able to manage it this time. My team(s) have been centered around Gnishak, but lacking an ally attacker can't get more than 5 bombs off at best. And my gear is not quite up to task. I could hit the accuracy, but not attack, and certainly not both for Gnishak. So its all about survival, using multiple support to try and keep people rezzing and healed. About 50% is the best I can do right now. I do have a Geo, but don't have a Vogoth. I did try Geo with a few comps, but didn't pan out. I can hit one or the other of speed or accuracy you mention in the video, but not quite both. Right now he's 230-ish speed with 300-ish accuracy. Close. Dunno if I have the patience or gear to beat Bommel using solo Templar or Conellia (which might not work anymore with the frenzy set change). However help is coming. I got incredibly lucky the last x2 void, pulling a Marichka and Cardiel. So they should be built and ready to throw at Bommel next time around. P.S. I actually managed to get my new legendaries built up (kind of) and into Bommel 90 Hard just before the rotation ended. Took me a bit of time to get used to how their skills functioned, so was rough at the start. But...Wow. These legendaries are incredible. It wasn't pretty but managed to beat Bommel by letting Bommel do his thing, and having Marichka rezzing everyone during the big hits when she died, then rezzing her with Arbiter or Pythion, and using Cardiel's protected revive on death for spot rezzes. Gnishak did the rest.

Burangiri seems to be working fairly well for me, at least in the normal mode, haven't been able to do hard yet.

I use Rector Drath as a leader for some extra resistance and tones of healing + Archbishop Pinthroy for some more healing and accuracy, then Ma'shalled for pure damage (he's constantly healing) and Drexthar and Ninja (he freezes too a couple of bombs) for HPburn (the most effecctive way I've tried). Full auto :)

Very nice tips ! Another strong option would be to have a reliable Break Accuracy (like Tatura) + high resistance on all champions (350-400)

You can also solo him with Crimson Helm and Samar Gemcursed

I used Oella's inc resistance and Rector Drath's resist aura/passive. I run my team at 530 accuracy and with these abilities hit the required 895 to resist bombs, buff strip.

I use the Conellia Strat you showed. I don't care if it takes such a long time. I hated facing that Rhino SOOO much and tried so many of those strats you showed, that for some reason didn't work for me. Until I tried the Conellia one.

I use geo, triple vogoth and pythion but I typically manual it. I need to make the gnishak team. I've got the Champs. Just haven't gotten around to making the team.

the most frustrating thing about using Templar isn't even that it is manual, it's that he has a decrease speed debuff on his A1. Even if built with no accuracy he is very likely to 3% the boss sometime during the fight which messes up the speed tuning with the boss/bombs. I used Templar for one rotation and will never do it again because I now have Lady Annabelle. It probably took 30 attempts to make it through with Templar where he finally didn't land the debuff.

The high resist route is easy now using Oella (the fusion). Tatura, Geo, Oella, Pythion and X. Drop accuracy, damage, increase resist, reduce damage from buffs/res and whatever you want in the last slot, (perfect would be another buff extender).

here's how i beat bommal 90 normal for the first time: rector drath as lead, UDK, Artak, Drexthar and Aniri. all with around 300 resist. the new Righteous set helps alot. switching UfK for a better shield champ might improve the team.

Just got Conellia, but Frenzy gear has been changed, so can we still run Conellia for Bommal?

I have Gnishak but the only Ally Attack Champion I have is Kinagashi. And I have 2 Vogoths but no Geomancer or Godseeker. Any way to combine the strategies?

I used a Geomancer team on Bommel 50, but am having issues getting it to work on Level 90 because of two reasons: (1) Bommel taking extra turns and uses up all the burns before the bombs go off and before that skill rolls around again for Geo (2) The "little" bomb debuffs that Bommel places on your champs during the round have a chance to place Stun on everyone else when they go off (which seems to happen WAY more often than the % advertised), which means the support champs can't do their work, Geo can't get his burn back on, and you're dead. Will definitely switch to that Grishnak team you showed at the start of the video. Will have to check if my Ally Attach champs are Leveled up...

I am using Yumeko to send back the bomb to the boss, take around 2 turns to kill it usually.

Lady Annabelle is the GOAT, it takes 20+ minute but is very consistant!

I love the rat man ally attack team! I use it for all levels except dt hard 90. I can't get the stats on the rat for this level! But i have lady annabelle sitting on the bench for her once every 3 months appearance for dt hard 90!

I finally beat lvl 120 Darf Fae...Crohnam, Leorius, Ninja, Genbo, Hegemon... it was just dmg like hell with glass cannons. I also finally bear dreadhorn 1st one on hard... Gliseah, Isbeil, Turvold, Oella, Elva... i think elva was saving grace. Thanks for your tips and all the help. Oh and I pulled 5 LEGGOS in 20 shards durring 2x 10x and got the archer on 5th pull... i would have stopped with her at 1 or so... Got Hephraak, Robar, Bivald, Nekmo Thaar, and finally archer!!! I feel like it was too much money but I hope that i can make a huge leap in hydra now...? we will see. replaced Turvold on my team with Lady Annabelle, so Gliseah, isbeil, lady annabelle, oella, elva, was over 5 minutes longer and everyone died except Lady annabelle lol, I will try again, HH says don't buff team so much due to bomb replacement... ugh, also i have a duplicate of lady annabelle, someday i might lvl her to 60 and do a duo, maybe that will be super fast...er :) my Lady A. stats one star phantom touch, warmaster, 78,673HP, 1667att, 2632def, 195spd, 45%crit, 74%CD, 252res, 161ACC.

My team is Ukko, Pytheon, yakarl, geomancer, vogoth. All fairly ftp options. Goal is to spawn the dread bombs and geo that damage back at him.

you can get away with way less stats if you use Gnut, on Bommal he nukes away a big chunk of the bosses hp and on the waves his A1 lowers the turn meter of one target enough so that you can cycle to Gnishaks cooldowns being off cd for the next wave/boss.

I ran a team of self revivers su wukong, torturehelm, basalisk (he helps set off the bombs if I need to), butcher x2 The butcher if paired tends to res each other as the others res instantly except sun wukong. I put in sun wu to speed up the match. Else you can go slower on auto without him.

Could never get passed bommel 90 on easy. Don’t have those champs. But finally managed to clear it with gliseah.

I have built a few of those teams trying to beat him. Last time boomal was on the list in doom tower. I use the one shot method to kill him. No problem. Now the first set of booms I set on boomal. Well it doesn't do any damage. The second around boomal takes he only takes half damage. Annabelle is awesome but no matter how much speed or heath I put on her. She dies.

I don't have Vogoth, I tried this on normal using Bergoth and Master butcher and Geo. But I can't keep my team alive, I am not having any healer or resser that can survive, nor any real freeze. So I am stuck on 90 normal bommel :( .

I use double Vogoth with Geo, Godseeker and Yumeko to reflect the bombs. Has about a 95% success rate on 90

Before I watch the video: I only win at the low levels of Hard and only by getting him down over half in the first 3 minutes or so before everyone dies except Ultimate Death Knight...then waiting like 10 minutes for UDK to finish him.

Paragon in a toxic set good against Boomal?

I use visex geo and triple vogogh works on bommel 90 can get you past it in a good time

Prob is that if you don't have any of these champs or the right gear, your screwed and have to wait 3 weeks for the next rotation

I'm using a geo/vogoth strat myself. Raglin instead of godseeker, 80% success rate.

I think also very accessible is Urost. Easy to build too and no books needed.

What about the free Barbarian with the blue background? His a1 freezes, his a2 freezes and steals 100% TM, and his a3 is an aoe freeze.

My Bommal team is Cardiel, Stag, Magnarr, Demytha, and Gnishak. it's not a great team, but it works

I run lady A + 2 sun wukong's. The wukong's die (healing lady A), come back and smack, die, rinse and repeat. Just gotta keep lady A alive which is easy cuz she full heals when bombs or wukong die.

Samar gemcursed can also solo it, harder than annabelle but full auto so :D

I know I got lucky with champs but I did hard 90 with Duchess, Geo, Tuhanarak, Helicath and Cardiel.

Double Gnishaak, arbiter, Lydia, Salad. Waves are quick and boss is down in one shot.

Maybe it's me but every time I fight this boss his name is not bommal. Am I missing something?

I can't say I like it but Crimson Helm strategy revolve around a pretty average champ otherwise. For me is just manualling it for like 1.5 hours across a month every 3 months and I get juicy rewards!

Connellia doesn't need that high def there. You could just goo with 3k def and 75k hp and you'll be perfect.

No resist teams?! I think thats what they actually imagined players using. Increase res + decrease accuracy makes Bommal look like a little toy t-rex.

Where’s the Yumiko team. Load up with buffs, place hex with Yumiko then watch as all the bombs reflect back to bommal and detonate with a vengeance.

HH I really hope you see this. I just had a brilliant idea. You should get some of your clan mates together and maybe even some of the top performers in arena like guys from MAD and sacred pandas, etc. and make a video with them where are you guys sit down and explain how to be at the top of the arena and what it feels like to be on the best clans, etc. we would thoroughly enjoy that!

If only Kinagashi from the shadowkin faction was any good, i could pull off the bommal one shot with gnishak and fatman. Sadly Kinagashi is like 3 bad uncommons in one.

Vogoth needs to be in the last slot! Otherwise he heals people (with his passive) that are behind him before they take damage.

Can you do non-whale teams when doing vids like this? I miss the non-whale vids that were actually helpful. Us non-whales need options for who could also help.

Yeah.. use Lady Annabelle. One champion to fuss over, just to get through 50/90. It’s not like bommel is a great boss to farm.
