Hello citizens of the world, I have the best news I've ever received in my life ..... I am French !!! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
After a long wait (2 years), I am delighted to announce that I became Franco-American this week and I have so many incredible feelings! 🥰😳😭😚😇😍
It's not always easy to find the right words when we are full of all kinds of touching emotions.
I am very grateful to everyone who has supported & followed my path to obtaining citizenship and thank you for all the encouragement this past year! 🥰🥰🥰

You can travel to all countries members of the EU, but also to all countries inside the Shengen Area : Switzerland, Norway , and so on. For example you can easily travel to Iceland , with only your French Identity Card, even without your French Passeport ! I realized this wonderful travel, for example.

Wow that's amazing! I've heard that the French passport is one of the best ones to have because of all the agreements between countries world wide! With the currently situation at the moment I don't have any plans to travel soon, but can't wait for the chance to use it for the first time!

Bravo! J’ai ressenti quelques frissons en regardant ta video. J’ai quitte la France pour les USA il y a quelques annees et j’ai moi aussi ete tres fier d’obtenir la nationalite de mon pays d’adoption. Il n'y aurait pas bcp de gens qui vont comprendre nos sentiments d'être adopté dans une nouvelle culture à l'étranger et je t'avoue que j'suis même plus fier d'être français qu'américain. @@nicolas4771 Excaltly , Switzerland and Norway are members of the Shengen area. Total : 27 + 2 = 29 Europeans countries ! I realized a wonderful travel in Iceland 🇮🇸, This country is not inside the EU, but inside the Shengen area. You can travel to Iceland, very easily, for example, with only your French Identity Card, you don’t even need to take your French Passport ! ! 😃

Congrats 🎉 ! No longer need to renew your "titre de séjour" to stay and work in France, even in the EU and Schengen area. I look forward to seeing how the ceremony looks.. if you're allowed to record a video.

Thanks man! Yeah it feels great to no longer have to worry about visas (I think I was on my 6th or 7th visa, this was was good until december 2022), but glad I can now focus on the future and opportunities to come! I haven't yet received the letter about the ceremony, but I'll definitely try to record some sort of video when it happens!

because you must translate every day !!! I know it I live 3 years in another country !!! but you became good in french it s very defficult to speak in another language every time when it s not your language ? AN AMERICAIN IN PARIS !!!!

Yeah it was tough in the beginning when you're translating everything in your mind, but after awhile you start to think in the new language when you're surrounded by it. Now I'm having some difficulty thinking of English words when I talk with my friends and family on the phone! haha (PS: I don't live in Paris anymore! I live in Limoges which is central France, so less people speak English here and I'm forced to improve French!)

Yes everytime someone visits me in Limoges, I always take them to Oradour-sur-Glane to see the old historical town that was well preserved despite the unfortunate WWII history!

Bonjour ! Merci beaucoup ! Ca a prit environ un an depuis le moment que j'ai passé l'entretien à la préfecture et que j'ai vu mon nom sur la liste des décrets.
