His voice is heartbreakingly beautiful - i prefer justin playing 'i cant make you love me' on the piano himself and singing it a little more true to the original. That version could make a marble statue cry. ❤
I love this song, but when I listen to it, I kind of feel like I’m swinging in the water and Justin is standing on the bridge and saying to me “I can’t make you jump into the water”. And I’m like “I’m kinda here… swimming…”
It starts w/ Donny Hathaway Song for you? Nice. I still like the other version where hes by himself on the piano and he's more "delicate" with the lyrics.
So this is 3 songs, not 2 (I think). Starts with "A Song for you" (Donny Hathaway), then "I can't make you love me" & then "Nick of Time" to finish (both Bonnie Raitt). Almost half is A song for you, so not sure why the title only lists 2 of the songs.
Both Adele and Bon Iver, don't really care who is above who. They only care how the songs they sang are related to them. Stop all these comparisons and enjoy how much they put into singing it.
+Blaiech Rabi This was originally sang by Bonnie Raitt. In this performance he also combine Bonnie Rait's other single Nick of Time... and the result is this masterful haunting performance. I prefer the studio version of this which is the B-side of Calgary, but IMHO this performance is pure gold on any late night musical performance ever.
yeah i have, absolutely brilliant. But he still uses the falsetto quite a bit. I'd love to hear a more solemn rendition sung entirely in his deep husky voice, i think that'd be magical :)
the problem is listening to the first song makes me want to hear donny hathaways voice: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mnkl-YQ-XWU.html
