Jon always gives 100%. He struggles through the entire song, but he delivers, he gets there. He doesn't have to play this difficult song to sing, but he does. I respect him so fucking much. He really shows respect for the fans and gives us all he's got every night.
dude you know these kind of songs are tough to sing specially when you are depress than you can sing these kind of songs also age matter keep this in mind he is not a 20 year old boy , so dont use such harsh words for rock icons you should respect them coz they are still making music for us please avoid such harsh words

He was amazing when I saw him in 2013! Still is and considering the problems he's had and treatment for his voice in the last few years after not being able to sing at all he did amazingly well to sing this song.. So what if he''s a little off key, he's LIVE not lip syncing like all the wannabes do these days.

I personally Think jon sounded Good he didn't hit every note perfectly but it was still enjoyable (Would be better if they'd drop the Key though) BON JOVI FOREVER
yeah they do drop the key to D# but not enough too low keys will ruin the song i preferred the D# note jon is doing fine with that yes he didnt hit some of the notes but its so beautiful to hear new tones for the song which we also appy in our band
if john didnt hit the note sometimes no one care john is always john once he stand in the stage no matter he hit or not.. legend is always a legend. evert body knows john get older and voice change but they still arive to and watch... just to feel the spirit of bonjovie

No. His voice is shot. He's an embarrassment now. This is tuned down from the original, and he still strains so much to sound this shit. It's tragic, yet he looks out to the audience for reverence like a God. I would never pay to watch my lifelong favourite band anymore. Jon is hard to watch here! He still thinks he 'has it', when he's probably the worst singer still trying to cut it... It's his ego overpowering the talent that he seems to believe he has, but lost years ago. Tragic shame!

Say whatever you want about his vocals, fact is he doesnt shy away from a tough song....a tough song in his prime and a tough song for most. He sounded pretty good for the most part. If tou dont like.it go and do better
Great recording of this spectacular moment in Toronto! Thanks for sharing it. Of course, all of us Jovi fans know how hard this song is for Jon to sing. I expect that he was determined to sing it for y'all that night, since he had been sick and had to postpone the MSG shows a few days earlier. I had seen him sing it during the first show on this tour - in Greenville, SC. He talked about how much he had wanted to get back on stage and sing that song. I was at the two MSG shows after the two in Toronto. Absolutely wonderful! Now we just have to wait until he announces the next leg of the 2017 tour :-)
