This proves he is more than a typical vocalist...he is the best kind, the kind who is willing to not only finish the song but finish the show despite getting hurt relatively early on! So proud to be a Bon Jovi fan 😊
You know what amazes me???? Jon COULD HAVE called an audible to shorten the song to it's normal version. But no, he stands his ground with the extended version, that interacts the crowd. I swear to god, THIS is music at it's finest, and Bon Jovi IS the greatest band on this earth.

Jon and Bon Jovi are going to go down in history are the man/band that would not stop that to me is a showmen at his/their.You can clearly see that he is in PAIN. And I love that all the guys in the band are watching Jon to make sure he is ok, ready to run and catch him if he started to fell. That is brotherly love at it's finest.

jon could be in a wheelchair, with two broken arms. That wouldn't stop him from singing either... And the Richie, good old Richie, offers to bear the weight of playing the guitar and singing for THE REST OF THE NIGHT! Talk about burden! These guys are some of the last people who truely define good music, for they prefer their fans over their own problems. Jon could have damaged his knee for good, but he still went on with the show. I have more respect for him than ever before!

WOW, so painful to watch, can't believe not only did he carry on but continued the tour, I saw them in Edinburgh the Wed after, and although his leg was heavily strapped and he was on strong painkillers, it was still an amazing gig. He still had the crowd eating out of his hands. What a pro', lucky he didn't do more damage. To give up his 4th July to have op in a foreign country was a huge gesture from him,which we are all so thankful for, must've been an ordeal for him. I
and even David cares! you can see him at 1:39 looking over at Jon seeing if he is ok! Those guys love each other like brothers, and they would all substitute for each other, if needed. Im sure that Tico would even sing if he had to!

Jon Wood, I could tell that Richie asked if he was ok, but it looked like Jon said "no" before he asked, and while I'm pretty good at lip reading, at least profanity, I don't think he uttered a single fuck. I've seen the video at the end of the concert, and he lets the boys help him down the ramp. They had a perfectly timed break where he could have surgery, and by the next concert he was wearing a knee brace just like a couple of mine. I'm glad insurance pays for those, they're over a thousand bucks.
I noticed that too. when they showed tico on the screen you could see the worry in his face, and that goes also for david and richie, you can clearly see the worry in all three of their faces.
omg, that pain is excruciating... got same to one of my knees... he will have to be careful with it from now on. But on the other hand, saw them in Bucharest on July 10 and Jon was jumping and dancing as new :))) Super guys!! you rock!!
5 days after this he played in Scotland. He truely does put the fans before himself even if he is under a lot of physical pain. Even with an injury he performed in Edinburgh if nothing was wrong with him although he had the brace on his leg
@FutureShade I absolutely LOVE watching two legends at work. Like you point out, just watching Ritchie not only ask if he's okay, but offer to finish the song for him shows that they are there for their fans!!

I tore my MCL a couple times same Knee and Man it hurts allot More then one would think and it took me allot to keep ridng at the horse show He is certenly one tough man to be able to do that

I would say 99% of other bands/singers would have stopped the song, then cancelled the rest of the show and postpone the rest of the tour. That didn't even cross the guys mind. Also loved the way Richie just stepped in to offer to take offer. F*ckin legends! Thanks for uploading, quality :)

Jon, while you're lucky it was just the MCL, I am surprised that it happened because I know you run, your muscles should have supported the knee, but considering the stage was wet and slippery, it didn't look like anything unusual until you yelled. Been down that road too many times. When I fucked up my knee, I tore everything but the PCL and the LCL. I've had 8 surgeries on one knee and hopefully no more. I just thought about what I said, lol "Slippery when wet".
Annie M Thanks, I saw that video. I've never torn a muscle, but my right knee has had a total of 8 surgeries, all thanks to blowing out the ACL, MCL, and Meniscus. It was reconstructed 3x, scoped 2x, had some hardware removed, a partial replacement, and finally a total replacement. I've even had a couple of falls that would have sent me to the OR again, but it's good and sturdy finally!!

@AJMillsmiths I only know this cuz my daughter is a Bieber fan, but Justin did break his ankle while performing and kept going. He didn't stop the song when it happened.
