Fantastic to see the kids who weren't even born when this first came out enjoying it just like we did at the time! Great songs are great songs and always will be, I think. (Edited for typo.)
@@0xEchoPhantom queen ain't as good as bon Jovi in crowd connection, they never were. Bon Jovi was always better then them at crowd connection. Bon Jovi is better anyways
@@Hello31257 You could still socialise freely and go to the pub as long as the sirens were off. Also fish and chips were exempt from the ration. I'd prefer the war to this NGL
I think this is definately one of thé top10 bést performances éver? No1 is ofcourse the legendairy Live Aid gig from Queen, where Freddy just 'plays' the entire crowd like this, but Bon Jovi is coming awefully close here! Just look at that crowd éxploding on the song! The song was released in 1986!! This was in 2011: 25 years later, and people sing it out LOUD, in masses! If you can do that, then you are, without a doubt, one of thé greatest Bands in history!
In 2016 I was depressed and was going to take my life. This is one of several songs that saved my life. Since then I’ve been living on prayer literally. Thanks for this song.
35 years plus, the man still keeps going, his songs still keep going, his life still keeps going. There is nothing one cannot dislike....Except maybe he has shorter hair now...lol :)
This is actually what many bands live for, they much prefer to play live and tour in front of thousands, see their hard work appreciated and creat an atmosphere of celebration of the music. They are memories money can't buy.
Tico's a beast on the drums!! Smile says it all , having the time of his life.. Knows hes in one of the best bands in the world and they are absolutely killin this song!!!
Exactly! This song came out in 1986: around 37 years ago! They must have played this song, cóuntless times, before even more countless people, sold records, albums, hundreds of studio-records... Fame and fortune came with it.... But after só many years, to just play that song, and hear TENS and TENS OF THOUSANDS cry it out loud with joy... That is a priceless feeling!
Adam Kallin I was there - the crowd was crazy - To give you an idea, the whole concert went on for 3 hours, they went into pretty obscure stuff, and the crowd knew the lyrics to EVERY song and sang their hearts out. By far the best crowd i've ever seen for a gig.
I feel so happy for the band. This song was released decades ago by then but the crowd is singing it, they know it by heart as if it was just yesterday. Their vocalist, despite of his age, he still have his pipes. Amazing vocals!🔥
Met him in Oslo a few years ago! He was so nice - got his autograph, but he would not write It on my body - he said: can`t do that, you gonna be a grandma sometime...... :-) Love you JOHN!
@@XX-rp9uv Haha, he said because i was going to be a grandma some day - meaning that maybe I would regret it later in life..... 😏 I don’t think I would..... 😜
Jon Bon Jovi retired as a Classic Rock Icon and he still helps to feed the poor with his restaurants. Winding down after such an incredible life time career, he will forever remain one of the BEST Singers in the World. Thank You Jon -God Bless! Thank you D-TV for sharing this music! SH
The best gig of my life. This was such a powerful moment, the sun was setting and literally every single person were singing the same words at the same time. It was magical. This was the year that noise restrictions came into place as Bon Jovi went on way after the curfew and ended up having to be turned off by the event managers.

Black girl born and raised in Greenville Mississippi , but I'm still Living on a Prayer!!!! Love the whole band. I'm a eighties baby!!!!! We just listen to music back then race didn't matter when it came to MUSIC JUST GOOD 🎶 Music
What else can be added ...? When Jon gives you a concert on one healthy leg, so as not to cancel... AWESOME that's Bon Jovi ⭐ and I do not think there's another band that can match them ⭐⭐ And that's how we're his fans, UNCONDITIONAL! ⭐⭐⭐ Before, after and ALWAYS 🙆
It literally almost makes me cry every time I watch one of these amazing concerts where every single person in the crowd is engaged and collectively singing together. I cry because I think one day all of the amazing voices and entertainers of the 80's, 90's and mid 2000's will wiped from the face of the earth. The music, their existence. these amazing moments where everybody comes together because of something someone created through the power of their voice. Will forever be gone in a not-so-distant future. I am so blessed an honored to have been a part of some of these gatherings and to be able to enjoy them on RU-vid. specifically, my era. the late 90's and 2000's. and for me mostly heavy rock and punk rock. but man was it a time to be alive. and I can imagine the same for the people that were attending in the 70s 80s and 90s.
exactlly how i feel. i first saw bon jovi 1987 and have seen them 30 times over the years and got the most amazing memories. plenty of other concerts and other events have made me feel truly blessed. like joe walsh sang "lifes been good."
I miss Richie too and Bon Jovi Blondish hair...Always looked amazing on him...The last time I saw them both in a show was 2013 and after that show Richie left :( Amazing Show...Great video!! Thank you for posting
An 11 year old me is there! That was the 5th and last time I saw them. My first was hull 2006 on the have a nice day tour, I was 6. God I love Bon Jovi!!! 👌🙏🤘
one of cutest things ever. :D i was 15 (thats 13 years ago, wow) when my uncle took me on my first concert and that was also hard rock band from my country, Arakain. :D Yeah, it was cool, he was doing roadie for support band and had 2 vip tags and i was with him once and my brother other time. i guess i was quite nuisance in the backstage, but i had sooo much fun! :D
They were my generation and seeing how this songs transcends through many generations brought tears to my eyes. A true definition of Rock Gods. Thanks for sharing.
I just bursted into tears listening to this. Wow. If I was there at that concert, I think my body would literally transform to another dimension. This is one of my favorite songs of all time! How beautiful is this concert. Wow!!
Mario Quade and that’s ok, Trump is a good president who should not unite with majority of world leaders, because Majority of world leaders are douchebags that treat their people bad, Especially in Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, Cuba and the majority of Latin America. I hate what those leaders are doing to keep my Hispanic Paisanos in poverty. It is not President Trump job to keep the Latinos in other countries safe, it is the Latino crooked leaders job to fix our countries so people would not want to migrate to another English speaking country.
Every since i first saw this video in my timeline i can't stop watching it, it gets my adrenaline pumping, what a wonderful performance from one of my favorite singers of all time
