Loved your reaction! And you are totally right about everyone just starts singing along as soon as they hear the hook. Jon Bon Jovi still performs with that same energy now, his is the only concert I've bought tickets to twice and both were hands down the best concert I've ever attended (and there have been a lot, so that isn't small praise, lol)
This video reminds me of all the BonJovi concerts I went to. They always sounded just as good if not better in concert as they did on the radio. The energy they put into their concerts was amazing.
Abracadabra I loved your reaction. This song came out when I was a teenager. My best friend had a huge crush on him and played a lot of their music. And you’re right it’s all about the hook a lot of their songs get in your head with the hook. By the way you’re right his name is John Bon Jovi. He’s grown up to be a really good person does a lot of stuff for Charity. Thank you for sharing with us. ❤️😀👍✌️🌼Love and peace
Nice reaction, do more Bon Jovi, how about Keep The Faith, Bed Of Roses, Wanted Dead Or Alive, It’s My Life, Bad Medicine, Always, Born To Be My Baby, I’ll Be There For You, Always and Have A Nice Day! Jon Bon Jovi is the lead singer and I’ve been to see them live and there fantastic! I hope to see you react to all these songs, thanks!
My first memory of music that I knew was meant for me, was this song. i was about 6-8 cause we hadnt learned english yet, so I made some gibberish english and sang the melody to and from school. Then at 12-13 my dad played me Livin on a prayer and this song, and I almost died from finally learning about the song title. Bon Jovi has since been my all time favorites, but now I mostly listen to Lamb of God and Kvelertak. Lmao what a ride thats been
Obviously this is a live performance video of the studio track. If you really want to appreciate Bon Jovi (and I did NOT back in the day) you have to see a true live performance. His voice..holy smokes. My favorite of there's is Wanted Dead of Alive. See if you can find a live performance of that song.
I believe this is a cover of a song the writer released with another artist and it didn't do that well so he had Bon Jovi cover it and well...this is one of their biggest hits. They killed it.
In general I never really liked the "hair bands" (I call them "bad hair" bands). I liked the more traditional rock groups like Stones, Creedence, Tom Petty and too many others to mention. But they did manage to make one of the great rock anthems "Living on a Prayer" which I do like a lot.
i am not a Bon Jovi fan by any means but they do have a few catchy tunes. The big stadium anthem type stuff. A couple of their songs will get caught in your head so watch out
