James Pearson takes us on the journey of unlocking his flow state on what is likely the world’s hardest trad climb.
The power of flow bonds the community of climbers, from rewinding and relaxing to unlocking your potential. But truly tapping into your flow state is a delicate practice between thinking and letting go. James Pearson shares his flow state, an experience that came while trying to understand how to balance climbing with parenthood, allowing him to have more enjoyment in his climbing and ultimately perform at his best by turning his back on the pressure of climbing.

Man i really can relate to your internal struggle as a becoming father. I know you didn´t mention it but i want to bring it up regardless because you touched on something in me in those few insights into your family life. I never in my life, not in even in clear life or death-situations, felt more terror as when my child came to existence. The fear for the safety of your kid is something no one is able to prepare you for. I wish you and your family all the best i can think of. Thanks for this video.

Wow inspiring video that posited a lot of things I had not yet considered. Would love to hear more of Pearson's thoughts about climbing, and letting go of the illusion of control

Thanks James. Things change don't they? But I think you didn't just find flow, you found hope. Hope means not knowing. It means wishing and trusting that you will meet the challenge together.
