BONAFIDE SS107 ! How Stable Is It?

I have been researching these boats for weeks and just got one yesterday and as a 280lb man I can say I love it its like a lazy boy for the water

Nice. I got the SS127 a few years ago when it first came out. I like it, but thinking of selling it to get the 107. The 127 is just to big for my needs and I think the 107 will be much more fitting. The 127 would be great for someone with a trailer and wish to pack it full for serious fishing, but I just want a grab and go Kayak to fish from after work. So either going with the SS107, the Old Town Sportsman, or the Jackson Bite. Really want the SS107, but the only places they are sold near me are 200 miles away. Tip. When you find you have flipped and it's upside down, climb up and grab the scupper holes to the far side of the far side carry handle if you can reach and roll it toward you. You started trying to roll it away and that will never work. The "alligator roll" worked for ya, but it took more effort then if you just lay across and pull / roll toward you. Its always recommended to practice this and get good doing it before you find yourself flipped with no help around. Good luck. Have fun! Stay safe!

A tip on flipping it back over is to swim to the side of it, reach up and flip it towards you. You will look like a T in the water if you swim to it correctly. I don’t see you flipping on a regular day of fishing though. Thanks for the video.

Does the kayak flex beneath your feet a little when you stand up? I am curious about how rigid it is.

I stand in my 107 only to stretch my legs and back. Fishing while standing in any kayak is the biggest marketing and instagram gimmick I've ever seen. It's not enjoyable. Half of these influencing sell outs would fall out with the way they set the hook too.
