I don't know any other way to express the experiences I had while visiting Bonaire around twenty-five years past, except to say that the local peoples were the most genuine and friendly folk any tourist could ask spend time with, so long as you left the USA/Dutch imperialism model behind along with any other crappy pieces of emotional luggage that deserved to stay home.
