Another The adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.
Without a doubt! they made excellent cast choices all around, but they struck gold with Dan Blocker, they lasted 7 more seasons after Pernell Roberts left, but they wouldn't have lasted another season if Dan Blocker had left
Also noticed the main road in Virginia City is not only clean but very flat. Virginia City is built on a mountain and the main road is no where near flat.
My dad really loved 🥰 this show. It was on Sunday night and we had to be very quiet he would only let me watch it with him because the other kids wouldn’t keep stool. My favourite was Hoss and he did too. Love and miss you dad 💜
@@bobsaturday4273 it was never bad at all. Actually I consider Bonanza and Gunsmoke equally great. I don't go partial with either one of them. All those old Western shows were absolutely great. As far as I'm concerned
6'4" 300lbs of big love and big encouragement, and big belief, took an emotionally worn out Doctor and injected an new life into him. Big ol Hoss got r done.

Who's going to take care of the surgeon's horses and wagon?? Pa Cartwright ending scene pats Hoss on the back as they walk on.. Hoss no Ouch no Flinch no Scrunched Up facial expression a day or two after surgery? The wound didn't have time to heal that fast nor did the surgeon leave Hoss with extra supply of pain soothing elixer.. Early Virginia City Nevada ranchers son was tough wasn't he ❤❤ ❤
Great episode! One blooper though. While talking to Hoss, Doc Munday mentions Jack the Ripper. Other episides eluded to the show's time frame of being in the late 1850s and early 60s. Jack the Ripper didn't commit his crimes until 1888.
@@williamarthur1672 Hello William. Can you tell me why, - why when they passed - a piece, or a vital part of me went with them ? And it's never ever coming back. It's like suddenly a big piece of you is gone, and now you're incomplete, - forever. It's just a painful feeling. It's weird.
I don't think Klaatu was a Martian. I think you're mixing that up with H.G.Wells War Of The Worlds. From The Day The Earth Stood Still, I believe Klaatu expalins to the President's secretary, Mr. Harley, that he is from a planet unknown to us. By the way, I think that Michael Rennie would have made a great Vulcan. As a matter of fact Leonard Nimoy once said that one influence for his performance as Mr. Spock was that he took from Michael's Klaatu.
@@wiseguymaybe for lack of words, he wasn't a Martian more of a messenger, thanks for giving his name, couldn't remember it just Gorts name, nonetheless that movie was great
@@rosalindayoung1088 You are so welcome, Rosalinda. I'm a big Sci Fi fan, and Kaatu and Gork stood out for me as a kid as the most memorable. I understand they originally considered Spencer Tracy as the alien Klaatu, but smartly went with an unknown, at the time, Michael Rennie. He was so convincing as an alien from another world.
@@wiseguymaybe I just watched The Day The Earth 🌎 Stood Still on DVD last night . It's still one of my favorite all time Sci-fi movies 🎥 Lost In Space 🚀 Is one of my all time favorite Sci-fi 📺shows of all times Thank 🦋 You for the download of memories 🙂 July 7,2021
@@sheiladavis6523 You are sure welcome Sheila Davis And of course, as you know, Michael also played the most memorable alien, next to Penny's unseen friend Mr. Nobody, on Lost In Space. The Keeper.
Yea lol, they probably filmed that scene first, all those stagecoach scenes were probably filmed at the same time or same day, before the scenes in the woods were filmed
Ah ha! you noticed something? good my friend....she was just the cover for the real love story, they had to put a woman in that story some way, or else it would've been obvious it was a gay affair, a few of their episodes had homosexual tendencies in the story, their was one with Pernell Roberts and Robert Culp that seemed unnatural bonding, the concept of Cartwright family always made me suspect of David Dortort's real agenda
The good Doctor Mundy returning to Merry Old England to straighten out the matter. The evil one going to Yuma to the Territorial Prison where he definitely belongs. Dr. Mundy will most likely return to Virginia City, Nevada. Ms. Allie will definitely be happy about that and so will Dr. Mundy, the Cartwrights and all of Virginia City.
Let me guess. In this Bonanza episode; the Alien emissary *'Klaatu',* returns to Earth! But on this particular 'trip', he doesn't have his robot companion *'Gort'* with him!
@@billh.5360 To each their own. I find it obnoxious. Having said that, he was a lot of fun on his Johnny Carson slots. And I am beginning to appreciate him as a director on Bonanza, and certainly a humane sort of chap he was.
@@XE1GXG Fair enough. And yes, I do agree with you that Michael Landon was good on the Johnny Carson show. It may have been his last appearance there, when he knew he was dying, and he looked out to the audience and said, "Live every day everyone!" It was an upbeat interview and enjoyable to watch.

Norbit stinks 70% of their content has no verbiage there's no noise that is very annoying . Once I discovered norbot I shut it off like I'm doing right now.
From what I understand they had problems with him on the set…And he didn’t like the fact of calling a man so close to his age pa…Referring to Ben Cartwright
