Another adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.
Thanks for such a 👍episode👌. One who would put his life at stake for his good friend, and another who would not want to stand up for his right as he didnt want to affect the friendship he had.
That one went dw in history. Cause they don't make friends. Like that anymore. Even made me shed a tear. Cause this. Is the true meaning of friendship. Love the cartwrights.
@@KKohl he's not a casual friend they've been friends for a very long time he's also Ben's (Joe's father's) friend and Hoss' friend too. He's known the Cartwright's for many years. They're not just casual.
Tall boneless Casey was John Waynes oldest son's. This was an unusual episode however, I love it when Hoss asks if anything interesting happened, tell ya'all about it at dinner. Hey Pa, next time I want a week off for vacation, don't give it me, ha.
My twenty three year old grandson named Morgan just came and visited with me for about 3 hours this afternoon. I surely enjoyed the visit, especially when he hugged me hello and goodbye He smelled so good. 😊
Someone on youtube has his version of the coolest Bonanza scenes. I think 16:33 - 18:15 should have been one of them. "Oh, you would have died of a real bad case of slow."
I love the way Little Joe taught him that lesson. Cool demeanor, low voice and sincere words. You don't have to kill to make a point. The writers did a good job.
WRONG WRONG WRONG. he should have killed that asshole because the guy was bent on revenge and almost wound up getting little joe killed. an enemy MUST BE CRUSHED!!! if not, they will try to crush you.
If Joe had killed Casey, nothing afterward would've happened. Because he didn't, Joes life was threatened, the sheriff almost died, and the life of Joes friend was in jeopardy. And all you can say is that it was a GOOD thing? Surely you cannot be that stupid.
@@christopherbako👴🏻🥃 YEP ALWAYS, AND HE ALWAYS DO SOMETHING THE HARD WAY JUST TELL THE SHERIFF THE POOR GUY SHOT HIM AND THEN GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE JOE DAMN
Best feeling is every Cartwright would've done what lil Joe did, honest, always helpful and wouldn't have cheated a stranger or a friend, the Father did a great job single parenting in this show.
40 year old father with 3 40 year old sons.Yet this is the best show in the world to grow up with.We need shows like this in our world.Things are so far out of touch kids need to learn respect and decency to go out into the world. They know more about drugs than work. They need guidance growing up.Well I said enough
Just a movie series. Telling grown men to go to sleep ❓ 3! Dead Ex wife's? But as a kid we did not have much choice in Ohio. Always liked funny ones. Ben I never liked as a actor but sure kept busy. Enjoy
Don ( Sam Butler ) the foreman from the High Chaparral. The Saloon set was also used in an episode of the High Chaparral. Why not! Both shows were filmed at Paramount
Things move pretty fast in The Old West... "Joe! What a Surprise! What're you doing here?" Joe asks about his friends arm, picks up axe, chops 3 times... "Hey Joe, we can do this later. Let's go inside and have something cold to drink. They take a few steps toward the house...see a guy riding a horse... "Hey,...hes stealing my horse!!" BAM!!! BAM!!!. Joe takes the his pulse. " He's Dead".
I don't think I like this show as much without Pernell Roberts. Didn't realize he had left the show this early in the run. Adam was the conscience and much of the brains. I know Hoss died young in real life. Bingeing the series to find out if he made it to the end. P.S. Watched the whole show now.. guess I'm not as right as I thought I was. Great ending. Little Joe.
One of my favourite episodes, so thoughtful and heartful of Joseph ,putting his own life in danger to protect others then opening the account never taking a dollar for himself, oh how I wish we were all like that, what a world we would have had. Instead we are all dying from a real sorry case of slow!!!!
It would be nice if all evils committed received justice and worked out like they always do on Bonanza, oh well I trust that there will be justice through Jesus who will judge the quick and the dead...
That period and place was a more simpler one, when people were able to solve problems by taking more direct action, something seemingly not possible today Alan.
There’s the two “brave” guys who beat up a sweet little 7 year old black boy named John in the last Bonanza movie that I watched. However, Hoss made sure that John’s big black daddy got even with them. I’ll bet that was the last little black boy that they ever bothered again. That was the saddest Bonanza movie that I’ve ever seen. 🥺🥺🥺🥺😢I can’t figure out what Joe is trying to do in this movie. I know it’s not about the money. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

art cook -Hello 👋 get a grip those people who gave this episode a thumbs 👎 down are HUMAN just like you are. It's their perogative to not like what they don't like just like you and by the way... You forgot to put the (e) on the word type 🙂 Adios June 30, 2021
@@sheiladavis6523 I never understand any comment that complains about a thumbs down for exactly what you stated. Different strokes, different folks. BTW there are usually trolls who hit the thumbs down and its possible to select it by accident.
*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* *I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound, little sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear every thing normally. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I watch these things and have sound.*
Little Joe told the Sheriff he was leaving an envelope at the hotel for his friend and asked the Sheriff to see that he got it. This would be the money. Later his friend found the $2,000 in an account in his name at the bank. How did that happen?
@@rickrick5041 That was my first impulse, but, he wouldn't leave $2000 in an envelope at the hotel. After his friend said that Joe started a bank account for him, that's when the logic kicked in.
@@galesayers You’re right but he could leave the envelope with management at the hotel to be put in the safe with other hotel resident’s valuables and the Sheriff was to see that he got it
are you kidding ? he was a nobody before bonanza and he returned to being nobody after he and his high and mighty ways quit the show . and you woulda never heard nor seen anything of him if it wasn't for this show that you and him think was so low beneath him . he wasn't too mature , he was just arrogant and pretentious
@@bobdimarzio3972 I wouldn't call him high and mighty in his role he was interlect maybe a little stern but good and highly educated and touchable he was somebody what are you talking about
Creep of the first order would never pick on another man his size. Creeps always pick on either women or children. Better off pushing up daisies. In the second grade I was bullied each and every day by a bully who had a house full of (the forty thieves) raggamuffins whose mother did not care much for their very filthy and dirty behinds. One day, I beat the living shit out of Toby and that was the end of that! NO MORE BULLYING. BETTER OFF DEAD! For he constantly told me I had no one to help me fight.
you need glasses , or only seen soft little city girls and never seen a real grown country woman before ? Regina Gleason as Martha was 38 here , hardly a mother of a 39 year old man Morgan played by Don Collier . Very well cast and age matched as a hard working rugged farm couple in the old west 6:20
