Thanks for posting! Looks like the weight of the derringer eats up the recoil. Didn't move much when you fired it. Nice group at seven yards for such a small pistol. Plus you rang the steel at 25!
It is a pleasant gun to shoot. For the life of me, I can't think of a good purpose for a two-shot 22 other than something like a tacklebox gun. Or maybe something to stuff in your swim trunks for sharks?
i had one briefly. its ergonomics were off, compared to my original bond arms derringers, and was difficult to unlock & unload after shooting (the hinge often stuck) because it is the less finished rowdy type. i swapped out the uncomfortable thin grips to no avail for me. i was happy to get rid of it.
A LCP II 22lr while reportedly reliable always has a chance of jamming due to the nature of 22lr and semiautomatics. The best part about a 2 shot derringer is that if your first shot doesn't go off, your next one likely will and you get a restrike with the next pull. Also the shape of it makes it look like a printing cell phone while holstered; it doesn't have a grip that is prone to printing. The gun is so small, thin and narrow that you could literally hide it behind your belt buckle. It is also extremely easy to clean, like I can clean it in 3 minutes, while semiautos take about 40 minutes. That means something for a pocket gun that collects lint and with the fussy 22lr rounds. Can also rebarrel to 380, 38, or 9mm which gives a lot of value to someone who carries those ammo types. The Ruger LCP ii is definitely a good gun but it's a different kind of good gun. For me I clean my carry gun every other day and the Bond arms tools save me a ton of time. I also carry a 9mm and 38, so it was a no brainier for me.
@@professorpewpuew I’d like to get a 357, but I’d only shoot 38 spl in it. The 22 lr version doesn’t seem to have any advantages over my NAA Black Widow, and a lot of disadvantages. Cool, though!
If you are going to carry a two shot gun, it only stands to reason you should have the most powerful calibers available. Much better off having a 45acp or .357 barrel
@@bill5552 And why wouldn't be? If someone is after me and they are twenty yards away, I'm running. If they are within 10 feet and I can't get away, then the pistol comes out. When someone is out and about in public with a lot of people around, this is really all that's needed. But if you need the 11 chamber + 1 then by all means carry that. Heavy, in the holster or pocket. Don't worry about me, I have firearms at home for home defense. I'm looking for something simple and easy to put in my pocket for close up self defense.
I checked around my local gun shops in my area and no one had the Bond Arms 22 Stinger in stock and so I purchased the Bond Arms 9mm Stinger instead. The Bond Arms 9mm Stinger is thinner than my Roughneck Bond Arms derringers and it has a longer barrell.
I want a drawing, a CAD drawing. I want the drawing of this pistol, the CAD drawing. If anyone has it, please tell me and contact me. Thank you. Thank you so much
