If you can't appreciate good modern violin music like this, I don't understand how you can like metal in general and Wintersun in particular. The melody was always an important, intergral part of his music, and melody is what this video is all about.

Bond was very popular from the very first release of their album toward their 3rd. They went on a world tour, including at the Royal Albert Hall. I had been to their concert 3 times. They were criticised by the classical music community for not being classical enough. Yet the band's musical boundaries-breaking aesthetic made it became very sensational and is considered to be one of the most successful classical artists and the all-time best-seller within the classical genre of the modern century. They paved the way for so many artists within the classical crossover genre as well as transformed the new image of classical music, and encouraged young kids to be interested in classical music.
