I’ve had a chipped tooth for 2 years now and it’s pretty small but it’s very noticeable if I’m having a conversation with someone when I smile it blends in with my bottom teeth. My confidence had really plummeted when my tooth was chipped and I never really had confidence in myself before it happened. But my chipped tooth made making friendships worse and made me feel self conscious all the time. Finally my parents decided it was time to get it fix and instead of get a filling they decided to just file it down because it’s really small I believe they established an appointment next Monday. I’m so excited and this year at school I’ll make sure to not let my insecurities get the best of me and be a little optimistic. I’m also dealing with a lot of other issues but I’m trying to be happier and true to myself this school year wish me luck!
I chipped my tooth after having a chip before that fixed..either my teeth are really weak (which I doubt) or the dentist I went to fucked up my teeth..
I broke about a quarter of a near front tooth 2 years ago. Dentist told me a few months ago that she can fix it, I had no idea what she was going to do. I had my appointment a few days ago and I actually have a full tooth again! Bonding is so great, they did a good job and you can't even tell that it's been damaged. :)
mines noticable but only if u look closely. From a distance nobody can tell which is one of those thing u get irritated by but its all in ur head type of thing.
@@aswinn9099 its been probly 15+ years since i chipped my tooth playing basketball and I still think its only noticable if someone stared at my teeth. Over the years if your teeth become yellow its more obvious as the bonding part doesnt have the exact identical color but close enough.
I got this in 8th grade this one indian lady dentist wanted to take out my entire tooth straight out of the roots and I said fuck that in my mind she just wanted to get paid didnt care about me then the next time I went to the dentist this nice guy did this to me totally harmless and Ive had this for about 7 yrs
I chipped my front tooth at nine because i closed my eyes acted stupid and started walking and singing twinkle twinkle little star and then i hit my tooth with a shopping cart and when i started to cry my mom was so mad at me and told do you know how much it will cost to fix your tooth?!?!
This happend to me once I was 11 or 12 I was playing hide n seek with one of my friends at school I saw one of them so I start to run. But I somehow slipt and hit my face on the ground and a part of my tooth fell out of my mouth I had like a half tooth and the dentiist did the same thing like this to me.
I need this. Hopefully when I go to the dentist they will be able to do these for me. Got to make my dentist appointment first, but I'm nervous and scared about what they will say to me.
I just got this done. It didn't hurt at all and looks great. I hit myself in the face with a pair of pliers that slipped off the zip tie i was pulling on and slammed into my two front teeth. How strong is the bond? I don't want it to break.
@@vs-cp8ch hello everyone. sorry for the late reply. I am happy to say that my bonding has still lasted all this time and it still looks great. It has been long over 7 years now.
I did this twice already in the exact area as shown. Whenever I bite into something hard like a jolly rancher or anything hard It gets pushed up to hard I guess & breaks off again 😒 now I need to get it done for the 3rd time 😑 Once its fixed & looks completely normal & you tend to forget about it & eat whatever you feel like & then ... Ugh Smh 😢 its only been a month or so in between times! I figured this would be a permanent fix but apparently it isn't .
+Sandra Puentes Same trouble happend to me...now my tooth is infected and it's such a severe pain, I am not sure how they will treat the infection once I arrive there.. I hope you're doing well!
heoar12 Thank you I'm still in the same situation its been fixed two more times 😩 Its never ending ! Dr. says its needs a cap or veneer to fix it permanently. Hope you get better soon teeth pain is no joke 😥 ! Good luck ☺
+Sandra Puentes Oh, I am sorry to hear that :( Myself I've been in pain all night and couldn't even get a single hour of sleep from the aching. Do you think removal of the tooth will be any help? And by the way, one thing worked for me yesterday, I flushed my mouth with flour liquid and it calmed the pain for an hour or two. Take care and get well soon! Ps. Try to not remove your tooth if it's slightly chipped, just look if there is a way to treat this problem.
Same.. I’m sick of getting this procedure done over and over. I want to just get my chipped filed down to wherever the chip stops and get my other front tooth filed down to match it. I don’t like not being able to enjoy foods because I’m worried it’s going to fall off. And veneers are too expensive.

i chipped a tiny bit of one of my front tooth when i was 8 while smiling with teeth underwater at the pools I swam too close to the bottom with my eyes closed and my tooth bumped it!

my tooth got chipped just like this when i was in 2nd grade i was playing on the swings and BAM hit me right in the lip, im def getting this done because i have a very nice smile minus the chip lol.
I chipped I tooth by falling over and its a big crack I went to the dentists and got a cap it lasted for a year then got a other lasted for 3 days now I just got one yesterday and it has came out
A small part of my molar chipped off when I was eating popcorn and this part does not hurt me and does not scratch my tongue and I eat on this molar normally and I do not have any problem. Do I have to fill it with dental fillings or i can leave it without a filling?

I had this done and it was fine for a few months but then after that the composite was pulling away and it was no longer smooth anymore and I had to get it sanded down and I did and now within a week later I can start to feel the edge again it's pissing me off. The dentist told me I might need a cap when I turn 18 do u think I will?

when i was 6 this big-ass dude pushed nd my tooth cracked so i went to the dentist but she replaced my tooth for a cheap material nd im 14 nd the tooth is stained and chipped :(

You have to go to the dentist as soon as it falls out. My first filling on my front tooth ( I ran into my mums car blindfolded when I was 7 ) lasted a two years but lately it's been lasting a year for me. FYI - it falls out when you sleep with your mouth open in the cold and when you sleep outside in a tent.
