That is a great looking pork chop & pan sauce. Like you, I prefer pork chops bone in. The sauce should be absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try it!
Eric, my bud. Great show! Thank you!! Help me make a small modification. I simply do not enjoy mustard. In particular I loathe yellow mustard and just, not a mustard fan in general. What can I substitute for Dijon? Sour Cream? Buttermilk?
Hmm, I'd probably just leave it out altogether, although the dijon is so much different than the yellow mustard. You will still get a good result omitting though as it is a very concentrated flavor.
I admire your cooking ability. You really do know what you’re doing. The only way you could have added to that would be to add some roasted carrots. But trust me. I’m not saying I am a better cook. You really do rock.
Thanks! Yes, roasted carrots would go well with this, I just have to go very basic with the sides when filming but that will be a great way to serve it up!
I used to dislike pork chops because I only had the thin, dried out, leathery variety but when you get a thick bone-in chop it really does make a difference! And yes, the pan sauce certainly helps too!
