Scott Beck I have my first memories growing up to this!! Lost a few of the boys in the mean time and gals rip.. bone thugs has always been an anthem since we were young
When I was 8 in 1999 my dad introduced me to Bone Thugs n Harmony. We used to drive to my nans in Tottenham UK listening to bone thugs. My nan since passed in 2022 but my dad thank god is still here. Pure nostalgic vibes. Thank you dad.
krayzie bone is a musical genius. Just how he rides an instrumental and sounds like an orchestral symphony, a drum, a violin, a machine gun is just unbelievable. he is getting better as well. the amazing thing is he thought of all this stuff when he was a young kid with nothing.
I can't believe how underrated they are. It breaks my heart. One thing I'm happy about is that, they are real, and they are safe and comfortable . #est1999 LOVE!
Same here, i hate how they are not being honored and respected for all the barriers that they broke. All of the Diamond plaques that they have, The legendary music that they put out. They are living legends, and its almost like if the industry is trying to erased their place in hip hop. Bone has sold more records than 90 percent of artist today and the industry shows them no respect.
they opened their concert with this song on the latest tour. best intro to a concert ive ever seen... no corny vids no gladiator theme music or none of that bullshit. they just came out one by one and killed it
Isn't it great?! All this stuff I didn't catch when I was a preteen, I'm seeing now. I could watch the video 20xs and catch some new esoteric messages/symbols. Did you peep that hourglass?
If Cleveland is where thugs come from, then you're implying Eazy-E isn't a thug because he was born and died in the LA area (Compton, not Cleveland. Not even the same state.)
i have the ultimate big love for these guy, from now and before my mind could even begin to comprehend the meaning of their songs. they have music that all can relate to, and talent to burn......
Back when this album dropped I was in middle school and was a long haired "stoner." Really into grunge since that was what really popular back then. As soon as I heard this album, I thought maybe I should listen to rap a little more. That started a journey through some dope hip hop from Hieroglyphics to Nas. Still love rock, rap and EDM to this day. About the only music I haven't on board with is country. And that goes for American country music or Mexican Ranchero music.
Me lembro quando tinha 15 anos quando ouvi a primeira vez eu e meu irmão nois tinha o dvd com todos os clipes ,época boa que não volta mais.. wé forte abraço
Man Dj U-Neek was so fuccn 🔥 on them beats ....i wish they'd make another east 1999 album...same flow..same producers..same vibe and style...just for the real day one fans
I just started the 7th grade. This shit still bangs. One of the only albums I've been listening to for so long, literally over a decade and still not tired of this album
+derek nesbeth and then we would all watch again anyway lol. it was like one of our favorite horror flicks. fuck up our sleep.....but damn it was entertaining.
Watching them perform this on Verzuz made me fall in love with this song all over again. Once they performed this it was a wrap! Krazie came in flowing, the look in Lay eyes and him and Bizzy going back in front was something crazy to see.
Bone is raw due to the fact of their style. THey are not a group of rappers. They are harmonizers, hence the "N Harmony" part....so you get their beats, which are raw. Their vocals, and then their lyrics......so the whole package just hits in a way most people and groups cannot.......BTNH Forever!
