I've always thought vr games should do more with character models and not humans, looks like bonelab is going right for it.

Yeah I saw someone describe it as Ben 10 and it seems pretty accurate, I didn't even consider that you'd be able to (and need to) switch model during levels, that's so smart

I don't like the skin changing, it's a bit cartoony if you ask me, kinda draws away from the puzzles and makes you cheat.

@@criticcrypt5898 There IS a Boneworks multiplayer mod called Entanglement, and the devs of that said they plan to hopefully port/remake the mod for Bonelab

It’s actually really clever. SLZ’s whole thing has been making experiences unique to VR, and a part of that is making controls and interfaces that only really work - or are greatly enhanced - because they’re working with VR

Who tf wants to solve puzzles in VR

@@HeadShoht A lot of people, interesting and creative puzzles are fun to a lot of people, especially in VR where you can get even more creative

@@HeadShoht People who want to not only solve puzzles, but solve them in weird and wacky ways. a lot of puzzles in boneworks you could skip just by being good at moving around. bonelab will provide the same fun alternatives for those who don't want to do puzzles the ''intended'' way.

@@HeadShoht a singleplayer game that has a mix of shooting and puzzle is more fun than one with just shooting in my opinion. It's fun to have to use your brain sometimes and think of solutions to problems. Look at half life alyx for a good example of a VR game with puzzles. Also the first boneworks had them and i enjoyed them. If you've never played those and you don't know what I'm talking about you've probably played or heard of half life 2 which isn't a VR game but it has similar gameplay

@@criticcrypt5898 I mean, multiplayer got modded into the first game, and since this one seems to have more modding support, it'll probably at some point have multiplayer too.

@@casual2694 yea it'll probably get multiplayer, but the "social platform" idea was a complete wash of an idea. It's a physics heavy puzzle/shooter, whereas most social vr things go about as deep as jumping and climbing when it comes to physics.
