I always used to think that the reason metal didn't get a lot of views was because of the screaming vocals. It always used to annoy me how adverse to uncleans people were in songs. I remember back in like 2011, a song by breathe Carolina got popular and they literally screamed "oh" one time in the song and it got edited out for the radio. And then here Bones is getting millions of views with this song. I've seen it with a few other rappers too. Good on them man it gives me hope.

So, I'm relatively new to Bones, but I'm fucking blown away by this dude. I mostly listen to Prog-Metal or the whole "Rock"-field of music in general. This must be the first rapper I can genuinely listen to for more than 5 minutes. I love this guy for always innovating, trying new vocal variatons and beats, while always sticking to the dark, eerie atmosphere. Currently I'm going through his discography backwards and I really admire that every mixtape sounds different and has an unique style. In a way I can understand the "old-school-fans" not liking this as much as his older work, but for me he just gets better and better. oO For example I find "Scumbag" a little to monotonous, compared to "Garbage" "Deadboy" or "Useless" - well I guess everyone can pick his favourite songs with such a huge discography - but I'll certainly stay excited to see what he releases next (especially with PaidProgramming 2 coming up)
