Boney M - Not Guilty - Of Being a Hoax in Music Industry 

Boney M - Not Guilty of being a Hoax or fraud or one-hit wonder in the music industry/ Boney M is not the Biggest Hoax in Music History - as they are not a Hoax. Boney M consists of two great singers - Liz Mitchell, who usually sings most lead vocals as well as background vocals on records and live on stage, and Marcia Barrett also sings some leads and background vocals. The group is rounded off by Maizie Williams and Bobby Farrell who did not sing on records and were essentially members to help round off the quartet of a one-man three-woman group to help offer visual and dance appeal. Bobby also mimed in performances to some vocals supplied on records by producer Frank Farian, the songs of which were not many and of considerably lesser amount in comparison to the number of songs and hits sung by Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett. There were occasions in Live shows that Bobby Farrell even went further by actually singing the applicable vocal parts Live with his own voice, as well as Maizie. Boney M was indeed a great Group.
