Thank you so much Dr. Sizwe for this powerful interview. I have never been so hopeful about the future of this country. Both the interviewer and the interviewee are giving us what we so desperately need in SA; critical analysis and objectivity! ❤
Yes, Bongani has a very smooth tongue and says exaaaaaactly what gullible folks like you want to hear. Bottom line, Zuma doesnt realy care for the poor black child. And Bongani is an opportunist. But good luck voting for a corrupt party expecting anything from them.
@@thandugonose9769 I have also always admired Bongani. But not anymore. Clearly his drunk of the Zuma Koolaid. It seems to cast a spell on people. Turning good people to bad.
What a state of political climate address by Commander Bongs, he is gem!! We are crusing as MK, also keep an eye on SACP in the next few months before LGE in 2026, they are on their way out of tripartite alliance.
Wiseman right there....any culture that doesn't evolve is a stagnant culture and will die a slow death......Bongani you're a GOAT......God we thank You...naba ke ooJoshua endandibuza ukuba baphi halalala Nxamalala yhini Bawo kunini ndikhala ndithandaza ndithi vusa ooJoshua mazoncedisa bathathe baqhube from u Nxamalala....
Really appreciate Bongani's clarity of purpose and the way he breaks it all down. Kudos also to Dr. Sizwe for his interview style and the comfort he gives the guests to speak their own truth.
The depth of mind/insight in this Bongani Baloyi is amazing - VERY inspiring as well. Clarity of thought (Lucidity) and above egoism of most politicians. .
Bongani Baloyi is a future. Thank you, Sizwe. Young people of this country, like Bongani, are intelligent. The stumbling block is black elites who stifle the talent. Zuma is a force
Thanks Sizwe for inviting this young man. He is very clear, concise and straight to the point. Besides having a impressive command of the language, I find his presentation very informative. Our ancestors must be rejoicing in their graves for witnessing people like Bongani with bright minds joining the Spear of the Nation. Viva Mkhonto ......Viva.
Floyd has managed to dismantle a whole political organization and recruit all the executive and members. This man can work. Welcome Bongani I have no doubt of the valuable input that you will contribute to the people's movement and the future of the progressive opposition movement and future political leadership of South Africa. There continues to be a vacuum in the MK leadership an hope others can take a stunt as bold as you did.
MAY GOD continue to PROTECT, BLESS, ELEVATE and GROW IN GREAT EXPANSION all these very WISE COMRADES, BONGANI BALOYI, FLOYD SHIVAMBU, all the young GUNS of UMKHONTO WESIZWE PARTY, GOD BLESS THE WHOLE LEADERSHIP, PROTECT THEM IN JESUS CHRIST NAME AMEN 🙏🏾 VIVA MK PARTY 🇿🇦✊🏾
This is very funny to me, i am a Christian but to hear you pray for these mostly corrupt individuals as if they are our saviours, just shows us how blinded these supporters are. Why did Zuma not do what he preaches now when he was president. If this succeeds there is no God! Why did the MK not succeed? That is a miracle from God if you ask me. Thank you Jesus for not allowing this to happen! God sides with the truth… not with the corrupt bunch, no matter how you would like to frame it, looking through you MK glasses. Take race out of this please… and before you even think about it, I am not a DA supporter.
Wow, Bongani Baloyi, Floyd Shivambu, Nhlamulo Ndlela, Bonginkosi Khanyile, Dr John Hlophe, Brian Molefe, Siyabonga Gama, former SARA leader, Msholozi Zuma, what a combination, wonderful, amazing, Weldone Msholozi. We are waiting for Mpho Dagada and Annele Mda. Gwaza Mkhonto gwazaaa!!!!!!!!!
Hei, I enjoy this interview, what a real leader we have in Bongani, wow what a boost to the MK. Thank you Dr Sizwe Mpofu Walsh for this insightful, more interesting interview
Nothing much wrong with some in this list cos were always aligned to Pres Zuma. As for others including this one speaking...shem they have no shame ... prostitution of the highest order. . it's like those hanging out with the one with money. the one who spends freely... shem no shame
Gys i see all of you running to Mk for positions when you arrive at Mk you called real leaders and don't forget that every new child likes buy every one you must ask those who arrive at Mk before you they were happy like you your days are coming like them and they're taking Mk to court today
@@xitsongatv1364its our once glorious liberation Movement(ANC) that no longer knows what it stands for..Hellen Zille has said that many times as well.I was shocked when one senior ANC politician said"The ANC is NOT for black people but its for everybody"....those are words of a monetarily neutralized person...
@@ZKhweziNI have my doubts about Jamie but I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt. I was impressed with his confrontation of racist Gouws.
The King from Limpopo could not speak zulu but went to Nkandla on foot, representing the resurrection of his identity and calling beyond connotations of tribe
Ayeye 🔥🔥, thank you Dr Sizwe what a beautiful conversation. The way Bongani is explaining the excitement and hope we have in MK is really how we feel on the ground the really love and trust the MK dankie baba Msholozi uyiqhawe that will never be forgotten in the history of this country
I almost burst into tears when Bongani said "the last thing we need would be for the MKP to govern the way ANC governed the country". That to me really hit home.
I totally agree with you Bongani there has been a great awakening of our people...MK formation was the great obedience Msholozi did. Sizwe thanks so much you have been such a source of knowledge or should I say a vehicle, if you didn't bring Gogo Aubrey Mashiqi there I would have played with my vote and gave it to the DA because I was tired of the ANC of Ramaphosa....I listened to Gogo and me being an African and a believer I connected with Gogo Aubrey....Ayeye
@@velelambeuralukakevideos372what happens if small minds keep him out of the officials of EFF during People's Assembly? Why must he remain in the EFF, when it's no longer compatible for him
I appreciate Bongani's assessment of the political arana and his decisions thereof. Now that he is joining a growing party with experienced leadership he must seek revenge on the past but work for a better future for all South Africans. Like Cyril did he must work with Floyd to get all parties and leaders to work together in harmony and look to the future. Do not be Julius and let your ego cloud your professional judgement as a leader. A true leader uplifts all South Africans, irrespective of the past because we are a piece of that beautiful puzzle called South Africa.
@@revelationpowerhour9149 that means we will never stop fighting, even when we get what we want we will fight to keep it, so any opposition should be ready for a fight!
Bongani Floyd team leaders you also missing Mcebo Dlamini and for the people of Africa would help for all the progressive cocus parties coming together and formed one party together to fight the GNU government of confusion and people put their differences are side
Clearly Bongani is an intelligent young man. My gripe with most people who are members of MK is that nowhere in their decision making is relevance given to integrity and propensity for crime.
They are still trying to refine their philosophy at this point so It's little bit early for that. However the constant references to the ANC do give light as to which direction they will take in that regard so time will tell really.
I am so glad that an African DA leader can talk like this - and exposes the so-called Black Academia, Black Professionals and Black Politicians - nicely grouped as the Black Elite who have been co-opted and recruited to serve the anti-black propaganda - Bongani Baloyi / Advocate Skhakhane - Dr Hlope, Floyd Shivambu, Andile Mngxitama - have arrived....we need to grow these thinkers
I strongly believe in the power of black people uniting for the collective advancement of our communities in this country. I hold immense respect for individuals like Mr. Baloyi and Mr. Floyd Shivambu, who have consistently placed the interests of black people above their personal positions and political affiliations, even those they have built from the ground up. Their commitment to prioritizing the greater good over party loyalty serves as a powerful example of true leadership and dedication to the upliftment of black people as a whole.
30 years of black rule, how is your brain fart treating you dude? still putting your faith is false leadership that will loot before they build a nation :D
Good decision there mr Baloyi! Its time all the brilliant black minds pull together , set differences aside. Nobody is perfect in this world, they made mistakes, they still gonna make mistakes but as long as they account and work for the betterment of black people in SA. I hope they all gonna join together in one house.
Why is it always about black people and not all the people of SA? As long as we think in racial and colour terms we are doomed and MK will fail because where in any space anywhere did black people manage to work together for the good of every one? It is because our politicians are always selfish and driven by their own egos. EGO is the enemy, if Floyd and Julius could not do it… this will also fail. Look at all the infighting that is already happening in MK.
My brother Sizwe i must appreciate what you bring in the show meaning the guest , you keep on lifting up our African spirit in terms of African Polities.
I was just shocked by Clement Manyathela's utterances when he announced the news that Bongani had joined the MK..he was very condescending...Its a shame how our black Journalists are working overtime to defend the status quo and have no shame to sing for their supper...
By far one the best interviews dis fam has ever had, amongst the levels of Ugogo,Aubrey Mashiqi,Advocate Muzi Sikhakane.M humbled by how you kept true to yourself even when it wasn't fashionable and it's good to c you grow, your voice must echo above legacy media Young people are yearning for the knowledge you have.It feels good to b alive to witness wats abt to come..
Bongani here is speaking more as a seasoned political analyst than a party hack. Such incisive analysis. Smart, smart guy. MK has gained a gem in this man.
Siyabonga baba Baloyi,I have been telling people about mk since 16 December last year and some ddnt want to comment about mk even after the elections...we ddnt forget...ayeye
This guy once said "The DA will gorven" "ActionSA will gorven" "Xilupa will gorven" Now its "MK will gorven"😂 Nothing which comes from this guy can be taken serious😂
What a fantastic man and progressive thinker with an open mind and heart. Can't wait for the day that he is also disillusioned with MK - and starts a unique Africanist party that is not built on nostalgia - but true African values -- in what is now inevitably a mix of modernity and tradition. Alternatively, he will be an excellent leader of MK - and transform it into an Africanist movement with integrity ... in stead of this vague hotch potch gedoente currently calling itself the true voice of Africans.
Asithethwa isiZulu siyakhulunywa. I wish I really understood your question,it's either I don't understand it or you put it in a wrong way and it somehow leaves a question mark as if you're saying if he doesn't understand Zulu then it's out for him?
As people we must know that it doesn't help to have a group of intellectuals together without ethics. Is like putting a ring on a pigs nose it's useless. This people meaning South African politicians at large must change their greedy hearts first and serve with passion or else it's useless to speak big English words but doing nothing for the people

ANC supervised the formation off orania in South Africa. And with this GNU they will ensure Western cape independence. Mark My words. Who ever votes ANC will be indirectly voting for da. All people of the soil need to vote MK P , Makena’s Barrett’s and atm
This is a reflective, sincere interview. Bongani is a great addition to MKP. He has straddled both sides of the political divide so his observations are worth learning from. One of the standouts in this interview is how the Smith matter was the seed that led to this moment, a few years later. Evolution indeed evolves over time. Otherwise called growth.
Bongani, very interesting point you raised about the "black bourgeoisie". I just wish you were given an opportunity to break it down to the finer grain. Obviously the people that come to mind are the Motsepes, the Nxasanas, the Ramaphosa's, the Macozomas of this world etc... I would like to know however if this black bourgeoisie you are referring to that needs to account includes the likes of Julius Malema as well who live opulent lives in every sense of the word while at the same time claiming to represent interests of the most marginalized of people within our society? I am using Malema just as a caricature to highlight my point. He is obviously not the only one. I would have been thoroughly interested in hearing your views in this regard.
Totally agree. We need a session where we will discuss human behaviour and character according to race. At some point Bongani was leading a party that saw Zuma and his ilk as a problem for this country. Zuma used to represent and still represent the elite and elitism of this country. When you agree with their politics they represent black excellence, but if you differ with them they are the black elites. Damn if you do, damn if you don't.
@@tlomepebane9634 Man you have hit the nail right in the head. These inconvenient truths need to be told otherwise we will find ourselves dealing with similar characters down the line. I just find it astonishing how Zuma's name never gets mentioned everytime the elites get mentioned. I mean we are talking about the man who owns property that cost the state more than R200 million. It's less than 1% people in the WORLD who have property costing that much all paid for. It's amazing what good old charm and charisma can do for you.
I love this guy, he's a true African leader, MKP is lucky to get sm1 in this caliber, I really wish to c black people coming together to change the constitution n hv a true Revolution
The man is clear and knows where and how SA can get to the promised land. My only issue is that MK is not the vessel to take SA where it needs to be. Just like every other breakaway party from the ANC, they are self-serving a few who have lost political power and influence in the ANC. Hence they fall off within 2 election cycles. Just look at every political party formed by a disgruntled ANC member. Its beginning and end are all identical. Nevertheless. Another top guest on what is now my favorite podcast on all platforms. Keep up the good work Sizwe.
It amazing how Dr Sizwe’s whole body language change when he talks to MK or EFF… he does not hide that at all. So if a brilliant young mind like his, cannot be objective then its just a shame. How can Bongani support all these corrupt people, I thought he was a straight arrow. 😢
This man is very smart. MKP is being joined by very smart people. How I wish they work well with the EFF and don't see each other as enemies. We need a strong leftist parties in SA.
Calling them true leftist is too soon my bro. They're left of current neo-lib hegemony, for sure. But last true left of SA was sadly coopted or shot up in hotels before the nation changed the flag. These EFFs and MKPs need to stand accountable by the society who is educated in the spectrum of political policies and general trends, and how those different models view and impact the economy.
I do support uMkhonto, listening to this man Bongani analysing uMkhonto,I am even more convinced that uMkhonto will live even beyong u Msholozi's life, big up to Nxamalala !!!
Thank you Siwe for all the guests that you interview. This is the best podcast to follow. The topics are very informative and one is able to understand what is happening in the political space.
