Just discovered this guys music on the radio this morning, went to iTunes bought the album and i cant get enough. luckily i speak the language. So to those who wish to know what the song means... The song is about a very rich guy (GUNUZA) in a community that is very poor. He owned a shop/ shops and was one of the few people who owned a car/ cars. People would go to the shop just to see Gunuza's car. When his car arrived he would "charm" everyone, even the girls. Even his son didn't play with other children...they were too poor. So Gunuza was famous in the village until one day his secrets were revealed. From the video i think he took advantage of the girl who arrived with the police. So to quote from the song it says "secrets were revealed about peoples pain and blood money". So people have never seen something like this...where a trusted person takes advantage of the less fortunate. Wow its a beautiful song

So fortunate to just see Bongeziwe at the Vancouver Folk Festival. A beautiful brilliant musician who's music reaches a place deep down inside me and causes me to feel something pretty spectacular without even understanding the lyrics. Now that is remarkable! Thank you Bongeziwe for sharing your beautiful spirit and beautiful music with the world.
