The truth is Bongi actually likes his mom a lot! He just feels certian comfort and security from his dad. That's why! It does not mean Bongi likes his mom in any lesser way.
Oh the sound effects when soo comes back and when bongji sits on his legs are too cute and funny. He seems to be a bit more accepting of mejoo now when soo is away.
I've seen this play out again and again for animals. They just get so attached to that "one person" that when this person is missing for more than a few years, they get anxious and depressed. I've seen this happen with both cats and dogs. It's fortunate when they CAN find a replacement that "one person" and not be so depressed and down all the time. We had a dog in the family that was so attached to my mother that you couldn't cheer her (the dog) up whenever my mother was out of the house for an extended time -- vacation, visits with family out of town, etc. There was only one other person that dog seemed to be happy around and that was one of my sisters. It wasn't as bad with the next dog (a male) -- he liked both both of my parents so if it at least one of them was around, he was okay even if he favored my mother.
@4:38 -- And Bonji's heart grew 5 times bigger that day for he showed he COULD be nice to Mejoo, too, and he certainly missed his daddy worse than anyone! Yeah, Bonji is the Feline Grinch were Mejoo is concerned and most worthy of the Darth Vader theme being played for him...! Or, is he The Emperor and little 3-fanged Yoji Darth Vader? Hmmm... Those two do seem like Sith Lords, Master and Apprentice. Well, that was nicely off-topic. Back to the main issue! Bonji has a heart and he's living up the Siamese reputation for having separation anxiety issues. They may not seem like they care for your health and well-being 75% of the time but boy do they yell and get depressed when THEIR routine gets disrupted!
