To me it is about time we brought sanity into that country. Kids insult adults as if they have no parents. Freedom of speech is not absolute. To quote the late Gen. Idi Amin of Uganda, "you have freedom of speech but freedom after speech, I cannot guarantee." There is freedom of speech but you don't have freedom of speech to attack other people because you feel like it. There are limits to freedom of speech. Your freedom should not override somebody's freedom and happiness.

As much as we have freedom of speech, we have to be mindful of the hurtful things we say about others. Bongo Ideas has made it a point to be blatantly disrespectful to every leader and celebrity in Ghana. I mean, the First Lady is an elderly person. One cannot be so blatantly disrespectful to her with hurtful things one says about her. Where is the respect in Ghana nowadays? The things he said about her I cannot even say to an SHS lady student.
