Raila tried to beg India's Modi for donations to fund his programs. Lastly, Bonifarce, housing is one of the most basic needs. A roof over one's head helps keeps diseases away(malaria, pneumonia etc), it allows one to acquire more property(TVs, computers, furniture etc) as it provides security. In the long run it helps build the economy by promoting consumption. And a house is an asset that can be used to borrow(to grow a business etc). Condemning millions of people, mostly the youth, to living rough on the streets or in slums is just unconscionable. Like many politicians and activists, you are simply out of touch with the plight of Kenya's struggling people when you think housing is not a priority.
