I find myself laughing at that every time too, especially when you hear him land in the distance. It kinda reminded me of that scene from S01E07 where Homer and Bart get lost in the woods, Homer sets up a snare trap to catch a rabbit, but it ends up flinging the rabbit through the air and you can hear it thud in the distance.
@@SomeUnnoticedAnimatorAndEditor I mean, I think anybody would become deranged while spending several hours trying to concentrate on the road while an annoying kid's toy won't shut up, lol.
0:21 Apu, his wife, and some kids who are his and some kids who arent, Jimbo, Kearney, Dolph, and Kearney Jr., the Flanders, and some of the folks from the retirement home.
I wonder if Homer knows that all cars have this cool feature called an emergency brake, they're controlled by a pedal under the dash, or they're hand operated, use it if you can't use your normal brakes.
Throwing the e-brake on at highway speeds would lock the rear wheels up & send the car into a violent fishtail, likely killing the family via spinning outta control. If Homer woulda done that, it woulda definitely been the end of the Simpsons, for sure. Good observation, though.
@@DaddysFastestSwimmer Because when the rear wheels completely lock up at high speeds, the car experiences a major traction loss between the front & rear tires, throwing the car off balance. This situation has nothing to do with the steering of the vehicle. Don't forget, tires keep the car stable by gripping.
I know the kids would play with the bonk it the other parents threw out, but earlier, Marge should have put the batteries in the glove department instead of dropping them and putting them under the seat because the kids got them.
As someone who watched The Simpsons from the start, I can say that they started getting funny again around 2009. 1999-08 was a lost decade minus a few moments here and there.
1:42, you know? For being a car made from excedents of old soviet tanks, with a lame ass 2.0 n/a, good in any car unless said car is an american landship, and being taped back together (literally) it has a quite nice suspension, almost like either the Citroën Hidrodynamic or the Lexus electromagnetic.
Hey, kids. It's Daddy's turn. STOMP IT!!! CRUSH IT!!! KILL IT!!! im pretty sure that is exactly what would happen to every father whos kids did have a bop it back in the 90's early 2000's. i know my daad hated when me and my sister played that game in the car was really annoying , he never did what homer did, he just told us to put the game away or no allowance.
First law of capitalism: if someone will buy it, someone will sell it. Before the USB became prominent, many things had their own car chargers and many still do.
