Bonk's Revenge / Bonk was a MINI-COMIC included as a "intermission style" insert for regular comic books! i've only seen/had one that had it in it, but the story and names should be in them, if you can find them! (please let the runners know, if any of you that see this are in their communities) Bonk is a Caveman, and he gets a rush of power from protein, after which he runs thru things with his super-hard head!

I have been saying for so many years that Bonk is perfect for SSB, especially since Sonic was added to it. It would be so awesome for all 3 16-bit console mascots to battle it out. I've beaten this game probably hundreds of time as a kid. It's still fun to play through on my Wii/Wii U VC every blue moon.

Bonk is just a kid who headbutts dinosaurs to death, climbs walls with his teeth, swims up lavafalls, and never dies...just sleeps. Being crushed doesn't even hurt him; it just turns him into an angry crab. You know: An average child.

You asked for Boss-Names. Witchdoctor? More like "Voodoo-Rhino" or.... Hypnoceros. But i liked the Ice-skink. And Captain Bork looked funny.

The sprite work in this game looks fantastic. It's really impressive to look at. It's such a shame the TG16 didn't take off. Imagine some of the really cool games that could have been made if it had become successful.

It actually was successful, but only in Japan. So there are many great games out there for the PC Engine (That's how it was named in Japan), but unfortunately only in japanese. To really use this console you would have to learn japanese. :D I hope that someday there will be some Romhacks that translate the games to English, like the ones for SNES.
