Damon was afraid of admitting he was in love with Bonnie, after he and Elena rollercoasted through so much and she professed her undying love for him even after all he did. He was feeling guilty. At the same time, he couldn't bare to look Bonnie in the eyes and tell her he was leaving her behind because he knew if he saw the pain he caused her, he wouldn't have been able to leave her, and he knew it. So, his solution was to sleep until Bonnie was dead and gone so he wouldn't have to worry about the temptation, and he can still claim he was faithful to Elena. Plec saw herself as Elena, claiming she couldn't relate to Bonnie. We all knew what she meant, then she tried to back petal. She saw herself vicariously living through Elena to be with Ian (her crush).
Is it just me that thinks that Bonnie had actual feelings for Damon but that she ignored them because of Elena and that she obly fell for Enzo because Damon left her.
I agree, they producers cut a scene where Bonnie was in bed holding mrs cuddles and crying while staring at damons letter, I think that makes it pretty obvious she had feelings for him
In 2018 I'm still saying the writing missed this gigantic chemistry to capture on. Bravo to you for performance of capturing them so well. Love Damon and Bonnie together. Made things more realistic to me as a tvd viewer.
Thank you very much. I've said it before and I'll say it a million more times the Bamon fans are the ones who made these videos, and everything else, worth it. I might not have gotten very much out of this show in the end but I got to make content for one of the best fandoms I've ever been apart of.
I feel you... It will always be a mystery (Well, not really a mystery because I feel I know the reason) as to why they were never explored romantically. If it makes you feel any better, Bonnie and Damon were basically made for each other. If you didn't know, The Vampire Diaries is a novel series and the creator of it, L.J. Smith, has went down saying they are supposed to be together. They are endgame in the original novels. So I feel the reason show Bonnie Bennett and Damon Salvatore fit so well together was because they were originally created for each other.
Years later and I am still highkey pissed at the wasted potential that was Bamon. They were by far the healthiest and most organic pairing on this show and for whatever reason they were never fully explored. I actually stopped watching religiously before the show went off and still wound up disappointed by the outcome 🙄
I know, the only couple from the novels that they refused to explore. And it's a damn shame because Kat and Ian had chemistry. But he writers wanted to go with the boring same ol, same ol. 🙄
I think Damon went into the coffin because he felt afraid of his feelings for his girlfriend's " best friend". Elena was never as concerned with Bonnie unless it was too late and something tragic already happened to her. Bonnie treated Elena as a best friend, so she tried to mask her feelings for Damon, but she stuck around. He felt guilty of falling in love with Bonnie because he knew how much Elena wanted to be with him, so he figured that he wouldn't have to face that if he coffined himself until Bonnie was dead and gone. That is the reason he didn't have the guts to do it to her face because he knew seeing the pain play out across her face would just kill him inside and he wouldn't have been able to leave her alone....even if Stefan was around to look out for her.
We all watch the same show because i felt the exact same, damon was afraid of his feelings for bonnie because the loyalty and all the thing with elena, because i dont remember damon been so scare to lose somebody that when bonnie was hurt no even with elena, remember end season 3 when elena died an he knows he kind of upset for her, when bonnie was hurt he was crazy, mad, and so scare almost crying if that dont meant something else 🤔i don't know what does
I wish if they would've ended up together. They were so perfect for each other lol. Damon was the happiest with her. And Bonnie was the most powerful with him.
Their friendship is sweet .. crazy beautiful.. fiercely loyal .. epic .. exciting .. strong .. engaging .. tender .. to affinity and beyond .. if I had a friendship like that .. we wouldn’t stay friends for long..how crazy sad .Bonnie and Damon characters were put into the hands of ..producers and writers .. who did everything they could to keep that ship from ⛵️ sailing..their bantering .. crazy funny .. their chemistry .. undeniable.. they did not what to do with all those magical sparks flying whenever they had scenes together .. so they made sure their scenes were limited and kept in the friend zone.. they did this by carefully selected script that Bonnie and Damon were forced to say during scenes .. but where there is smoke .. there is fire 🔥.. and tho their words were contained by their keep them in the friend zone script .. their interactions in their scenes .. maybe you think 🤔 made you want them to have more .. it’s impossible to contain chemistry.. even in a script .. it will just ooze out of their pores .. and end up on our TV screen .. which it did .. I won’t call it a missed opportunity by the shown runners and the writers .. They wanted to miss it .. I will call it failure to launch 🚀 something that would have been one for the record books
Damon ends up with Elena in the book and maybe kissed Bonny in the beginning. She became his friend , true friend letting Elena grow fond of Stephan in the process. But then again I think Elena could’ve waken up much easier with kind help of Bonny. Other witches could have undo the spell easily-
The chemistry was so fuckin blinding between then but the writer was so hellbent on this being a delena fanfiction that she literally had to make Bonnie hate Damon for a time but for what tho it only made their bond and chemistry stronger 🤔
Yep, as different as they were from their novel counterparts, they had important similarities. Which is why I think they resonate with a lot of people. If for nothing else, just know I'm sure Julie Plec is kicking herself for not exploring Bamon when she had the chance. With all her cw shows flatlining, I'm sure she's wishing she could have a do over.

Yes, it does come with some filters.However, if you're going to pursue buying a video editor, I would recommend getting Vegas pro 13. I know a lot of vidders use it and it does enough for fan vidding. (:

He didn't forget about Elena.... It's just Bonnie and him are going through some bumps in their relationship and it's giving off some really strange vibes. I don't think even they know what to make of it right now. But I do ship them hardcore. :P
