Bonnie George Campbell 

The Autoharp was always an instrument that I was aware of somewhere in my subconscious. An instrument that kept popping up but I never really took it in, or considered it as a possible one to pick up.
I remember watching Billy Connolly playing an autoharp while playing Uncle Monty in the movie Series of Unfortunate Events and yet again not really realising how much I loved it as an instrument.
This was the song that he sang in that film, Bonnnie George Campbell. One of the Child Ballads it tells of a man who has gone off to fight, but only his horse returns
