That's the word I was looking for, raspy. A good friend said he liked women with sexy, hoarse voices & I just found it so funny, I don't know why. The only woman that came to mind was Kim Carnes. I totally forgot Bonnie Tyler. I like smooth, powerful voices like Aimee Mann, Nicola Roberts & Dale D'bozio.
This song will forever remind me of Barbara,my first crush in High school.but i don't know what happened to her I was a gawky, slim 15years old and I never went out with her.bonnie Tyler was the best and the music of seventies was awesome and then some! Where do you Come from Candace?
No other singer could have made this song more beautiful than Bonnie Tyler. The emotion and soul she put into her music made her very special. A beautiful woman with a voice that could make you melt.
Chloe kohanski of the voice usa 2017 nailed this song.. she gave so much emotions with this song and her voice was similar to bonnie and it hits #1 on the itunes..
the fact that Jim Steinman finished this after he met with Bonnie just deepens her passion-she still says that she can't believe he gave it to her,and Jim says that he felt her beautiful voice was not being stretched to it's fullest potential by her previous material,so he clearly had so much faith in her to bring this to life-nobody apart from Bonnie Tyler should sing this
Milton Williams Don't know if Meatloaf did a version but Jim Stienman produced this along with Meatloaf which is why they sound alike. A Stienman produced song had a signature sound and you can tell it here.
That voice is transcending…..that raspy vocals of hers is extraordinary That backup singer is incredible too……boy he can sing clean!! They don’t write music like this anymore……beautiful song 🌹
God I loved being a kid in the 80’s. Listening to this at the age of 43, this song was all heart. I heard this on the radio the other day and it just gave me goosebumps hearing it again. Bonnie has so much emotion in her voice and wow can she sing with feeling. Songs these days lack that.
I went to Pagadian City at around 2:00am and suddenly this song was played from the FM station that I tuned in, I got goosebumps with it so I searched the song title and finally listened to it, there are so many memories I can remember while playing this song, thank you Chris... Relate much
Bonnie, a longing of my youth with the most important song and best song of love, passion, and loss. Who hasn't experienced it, the separation from the person who made your heart melt and then simply left. A voice to melt away, great visuals and lyrics for the aching heart. This is and remains one of my favorite songs ever. Thank you, Bonnie, for this song of the century.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”Ephesians 2:8-9“for ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:13

I got to see her in the 80's as well as Kim Carnes who also has that sexy raspy vocals and also saw Pat Benetar, Joan Jett , Till Tuesday and Blondie in 79.. All because my older sister worked for the 2 concert venues and the best FM station.. A few were backstage.. I got to see and even meet so many amazing bands and artists..
Ach da werden Erinnerungen wach. Bei diesem Song habe ich meinen Mann kennen gelernt. Wir sind jetzt 45jahre verheiratet und lieben die Musik immer noch so sehr.einfach nur klasse.

It really hurts my heart after all these years, Bonnie, you gave me so many wonderful romantic moments. I can only thank you forever and ever for your voice!
This video totally & completely captures the '80's doesn't it? I never thought Bonnie Tyler got her due. She recorded 2-3 iconic songs and had such a unique voice.
The 70s and the '80s were the best generation of music and I enjoyed every minute of it. The concerts, dance clubs, the singles bars, the after hours clubs, rocking all night till the early morning.

Total eclipse from the hair. But damn, that passion, that gravel shoved from vocal cords, satin traded for leather and the remembrance of a video teenage crush, and I am ready to fall in love again--29 years ago.
Donde quedaron esos momentos en la mente y cabeza de nuestra juventud que musica volver a escucharla me pone la piel de gallina y me hace caer una lagrina que momentos aquellos
Total eclipse of the heart, música inesquecível, maravilhosa, um sucesso eterno.
I'm not really sure that's his voice, I think this isn't truly live. The reason I say is because I've listened to the other live versions and the original singer comes out and sounds exactly like this guy.
@@NightMarEstaRv714 Maybe soo. Or it could be an recording of audio music. ..... But for sure, she really singing though. I mean she has an GREAT talented voice. But I think I get what you mean. THe music video of the song. Has the Guy doing the Vocals in the back. And He singing the same "like the tune" with the same guy doing the vocals at the Concert. WOW! They sound almost exactly the same. But they probably do audio recording at the song played it at the Concert.
