It’s been a long week following the Semanhyia farms versus No Goats in Berekum taboo brouhaha. Today, in this video, the Regional Minister for Bono Region visited Semanhyia L&D Farm where she interacted with Fred and also had a first hand view of Semanhyia Farm

What is the use of the government stepping in now when the goats are sold. Where were these good for nothing politicians when Fred was busy calling here and there for their intervention? This is some of the reasons why Ghana never develops . Elsewhere in the civilized countries, politicians solve problems facing the citizens whereas in Ghana , politicians are concerned about amassing wealth through dubious means. What a disgrace!

There is one thing I have observed since the beginning of this " NO GOAT" brouhaha- the mien of Fred. He carries himself with dignity(not pride) and expresses himself without being overbearing. You can see that he is a guy filled with wisdom, knowledge & understanding. He is spiritually & physically mature. All this agree with the saying that "a barrel filled with water is noiseless", "deeper rivers flow in majestic silence" This incident, though disturbing initially, will catapult this establishment(farm) to greater heights as the machinery to that effect is already in motion as exemplified by the visit of the regional Minister. With ALL LOVE FROM NIGERIA.

There's a silver lining in every cloud. This incident has really opened the world to the good works of semanhyia farms. It is heartwarming that you obeyed the directives to evacuate the animals. Now, the onus will fall on the Queen Mother to plead with you to bring the animals back!. Mark my words. Now, Fred, I hope I can order the Kalahari goats ( male and female) all things been equal in February? ( 2024) otherwise, my investment will go waste.

About time someone steps in and put a stop to this shit show. Ghana has really disappointed me with this unfortunate episode. We in Nigeria like to point to Ghana as an example of a system that works, when castigating our system. But this episode has opened my eyes to the reality of Africa. We are one-step forward and double step backward, unfortunately. I have a feeling that something positive will come out of this ministerial visit. Hope the minister will put action where her mouth is in ensuring not only that the retrogressive order is rescinded, but also infrastructure such as tarred road and other amenities are extended to this location and the location is transformed to a learning center as the minister suggested.

Even if the government steps in, I would have still moved, I’d just request reimbursement for my stuff…don’t want things to start happening all of a sudden
